My family and I went here for lunch, and it was delicious! We had the kale soup, fish croquettes with mozambique, Portuguese pulled pork sub and pulled pork burger (we shared a little bit of everything). Carla, one of the owners, was very friendly and eager to explain the ingredients of the foods, how they were made, and even where some of the ingredients were sourced (spoiler: from Portugal!) Everything was reasonably priced and you could tell that the food was made with tlc, which is not so commonly seen anymore. Would highly recommend!! 🇵🇹
The staff, the atmosphere and most importantly the Portuguese dishes were outstanding. Definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.
Went for lunch with my son. We will both be going back. The food was amazing, friendly and informative service. I had the chicken Mozambique, my son had the chorizo with peppers and onions. The homemade fries, served aside these sandwiches were so good. No ketchup needed here! Please go and give it a try, support local small business. BYOB if you like.
What a great neighborhood restaurant. We are so fortunate to have some great ethnic restaurants in Worcester, and Azorean has joined those ranks. BYOB let's you pay for the food, not the liquor license. And you definitely are coming here for the food. It's unique (Portuguese) without being so strange. So kids (and other picky eaters) will still find plenty things on the menu of interest. We happened to stumble into their 1 year anniversary so that was a nice bonus. I'd suggest to the owner to add some sandwich options to the dinner menu for someone not looking for a full meal. A few more ethnic dessert options would really round out a nice menu.
I live in the neighborhood and had a hankering to come in to try the food. I had never had Portuguese food before, but I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes were excellent, and there was plenty to eat. Very grateful to have a nice restaurant in the neighborhood.
Just had a family dinner for 9 at the Azorean Bistro, we had the seafood special and ordered off both the lunch and dinner menus. Everything was VERY good, cooked to perfection, big portionts perfect for sharing, service was fun and attentive. Highly recommended!
Everything is made to order so it may take longer but the great salads and dinners are well worth the wait. Make sure you talk to Carly who cooks all the meals. Not only does she make your meals but she'll also make your night! 😃
