The Dogfather Food- truck was one of many food vendors today for The Worcester Tercentennial 300th Celebration Parade & festival! I'd eaten food from there a few years pior before Covid-19 happened at the Worcester Tree festival I believe in December of 18 ', then I'd wouldn't complain. Today, Unfortunately Not a Five Star review for such, the hot- dog's weren't Hot ,they're were pretty cold , overall it wasn't anything special or out of the Ordinary other than a regular old- fashion hot- dog with Mustard. In addition, not too mention overpriced on food! Somewhat overpriced & disappointing 😞! I was Starving at that moment, I was one of the people who walked in The Worcester 300th Parade today , I walked in Supporting ( HECCMA) & Higher Education and Supporting (Quinsigamond Community College), (QCC) & Supporting The wonderful amazing City of Worcester, Mass today . Other than , the food my overall experience was a memorable experience & had a fun time & exciting lobg day!

My family was in Worcester for a college tour and when we were done we wanted to grab a quick bite as we had things to do back at home. Online we saw burger and taco places that sounded great, along with great ratings but then I saw The Dogfather.
Their ratings were great too and their menu sounded really good. We had trouble finding the truck and we ended up calling. You might expect a busy food truck to be kind of short with you on the phone when you're asking for their exact location. He was not at all sort with us and extremely polite, it was a great start to our experience.
We ordered 5 different style dogs and they were all great. The hot dog themselves seemed like an all natural casing like the style of Essem or Old Neighborhood. The dogs weren't the type that were overly spiced to hide the inferior ingredients. They were mild and tasty in their own right.
I won't go through each of the dogs we ordered I will say he has some very tasty combination dogs. You can get everything from a chili dog to the Wustah; Relish, onions, mustard, bacon bits, mild banana peppers, celery salt and a dill spear. Then there's the Dogzilla; 2 hotdogs, NO buns, shredded cheddar cheese, homemade chili, mustard, diced onions, Andy Capp’s hot fries, wrapped up in a tortilla and grilled.
We also had a couple plain dogs with mustard and relish. I'm pretty picky about dogs and mustard. Typically the mustard is drowning the dog and kills it and I'll never stop there again. This is clearly not the case here. The mustard he uses is a perfect fit for a tasty dog. It had enough on it for flavor and yet not leaving you needing a scraper to get rid of the mustard
I'm glad my daughter's school isn't far away from The Godfather, because I know when we do go for a visit at college, I'll be paying the Dogfather a visit too.

Best quick bite around, and best hot dogs I've had in a while!

Function for Hanover. Good food but horrible service. Cooked one order at a time. 45 minutes for a dog with ketchup. Ran out of chili. Supposed to supply food for function. Missed almost first half of concert. Get your act together.

I was really disappointed. I was hoping it was one of those local treasures and I didn't enjoy anything we got there... (and I say that as someone who likes things like food from a hot dog truck.) The buns were really sticky and gummy and soggy, the chili was horrible, and the hotdogs were definitely on the older side of what you should even serve. (Looking just a teensy bit grey...) and on top of it all it was pretty expensive...-Way more than you would expect to pay for a few hotdogs and a small cup if chili which I would have been absolutely fine with IF it was good or if any of us liked eating it. They charge as if they are hot dog artists (and I would support that!!) but nah.. they are just slumming and I will pass in the future

#1 in the region for a tasty array of dogs found nowhere else. Prepared with great care, even toasted buns! My favorite is the Vinny but every time I go back I try a new one… Never disappointing! You won’t be able to refuse your first and the next and the next ...

They came to my school. Got a dog, drink and chips.. honestly, it's nothing special. I could've made this at home. I was hoping for better tasting dogs from other reviews.. oh well, I tried it.

First time at Dogfather, got a French connection, super tasty, hot dog cooked well, bun grilled nice, toppings as advertised "smothered", was a good experience, definitely would grab a dog here again!!!
