I just went here. OMG! This was just what I needed. I've been craving soul food for a while, so when I was researching restaurants in the area, I was very excited and surprised. Arrived and order the medium meal (ver filling for 1). The gentleman at the register was very nice and gave me information on the food/restaurant/city. It's a family owned restaurant and I love that. They also have beef ribs, so I will definitely make my way back another time, but this fried chicken/mac & cheese/collads/cornbread was DeLiCiOuS!

Ordered take out yesterday. Fried chicken was dry. Yams were delicious collards were good. The chocolate cake was dry and the pineapple cake was dry. Not the best

Got the fried chicken rice and collard greens!! Everything was tasty. My girlfriend had the beef rib and that too was tender. Side note the corn bread was fresh and that too full of flavor. They take care in there craft here!

Really?! 4.7 rating? A group of us working in town have been trying for 3 days to eat here and every time the place isn’t open because of catering obligations. Be a caterer and NOT a restaurant “open” to the public. If you’re visiting, working, or passing through Worcester skip this joint. Chashu Ramen on Franklin is a must!!!

I had food delivered to my home from here and it was AMAZING. All the items on my large homestyle plate were delicious but the chicken was my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly as it was flavorful without being too greasy or too dry. The prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. You will definitely be satisfied whether delivery or sit in.

I'm from Florida and I have to give Addie Lee's Soul Food the credit they deserve, first off and a very important factor the customer service is friendly and excellent! Secondly the food make you want to slap everybody. If I every come back here again Addie Lee's Soul Food is where I'm eating. I'm a truck driver and it's hard to get to soul food, I'm in love with this restaurant. It's a must try y'all. I recommend Addie Lee's to everyone that want real soul food. Friends have been telling me about this place for a long time, so the hubbie and I stopped in for the first time tonight. Adorable atmosphere, huge portions, food was better than fantastic (I had fried chicken BBQ and hubbie had catfish). Collard greens were better than any I've had south of the Mason Dixon line, yams were spectacular too!! But as great as all the food was, the service and the employees were even better. I can't recommend this place enough. YOU NEED TO GO THERE!!!!!

Now you know not all black people food is equal, and I personally avoid it in restaurants, as to not be disappointed and sad eating gross macaroni and cheese. BUT...my husband just brought home Addie Lee's Soul Food....bruuuh...this food was so good it brought a tear to my eye. I felt like I was a little girl sitting at my grandmother's red formica top kitchen table, with the lazy susan in the middle with the salt, pepper, hot sauce and vinegar, eating her fried chicken, sweet cornbread, and yellow rice. It took everything in me to not eat it all at once. Maybe its these hormones (I'm pregnant with twins), but this food for real got me all emotional. GO TO HERE!

A little bit of soul in the heart of Worcester! The food here is amazing! It's so nice to have a good soul food place in Worcester. The fried chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and moist inside, the yellow rice was incredibly flavorful, Mac n cheese was on point, and the cornbread. The. Cornbread. Amazing! I wanted to order a pan when we left. Topped off with delicious peach cobbler. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Food is ok, in my opinion not quite up to par with soul food from the south, but good for northern standards. Prices seem a little weird here. I don't get why getting one side with your meal is $4 more than without.
But otherwise, this is a nice restaurant if you're looking for somewhere to eat while driving through downtown. It's in a safe area, the staff is friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and the restaurant itself has a neat atmosphere.
I'd come back here again.

I have had pork ribs excellent. I have had BBQ chicken excellent. I love the banana pudding , I had never had it and owner suggested it I am glad he did it's fantastic . It's just comfort food at it's finest. Great service nice people and fantastic food. Try it out you don't know what you are missing :)
