How this place doesn't get best of Worcester is beyond me. People get jaded by fancy signs and a dining room with dim lights. Best pizza has nothing to do with anything except that! The pizza!!!! Not only can you get an unbelievable pizza with endless toppings, but the pasta is nothing short of great! Sauce made to order. The Alfredo is literally made from scratch every order! You can barely find that quality at a sit down "dinner style" restaurant. The owner has prided himself on quality and efficiency. The second best part other than the food.... they deliver to almost anywhere in Worcester! Call and ask for Mike! Tell him Ronnie sent you!
Found this place online and the pictures looked good so my girlfriend and I tried them out. Upon driving up it didn't have much if much curb appeal but it was clean and we'll kept inside.
I pulled up their Facebook and asked them if they still made The Fat Worcester sandwich. A steak and cheese with fries, mozzarella sticks, and chicken fingers inside. The guy at the counter never heard of it so I can only guess they stopped making it when it came under new management. He went over and asked the owner and said he'll make it for me no problem. My girlfriend ordered a small Garbage Pile pizza. Essentially a Works pizza. We also got an order of Garlic Knots.
They brought out the food and everything looked great. My sandwich was a generous size, and tasted delicious. I will probably be ordering it again as my usual. The pizza was a good gold color and the crust was perfect. The Garlic Knots we yummy and could have easily been shared between 4-5 people.
Overall the experience was great and there isn't much I can complain about other than the fact they are closed Sundays. The food was great, and the prices were cheap. Probably too cheap for their own good. My sandwich was only $7 and my girlfriend's pizza was only $7 for a small specialty pizza. The Garlic Knots, which came with a surprising 10, were only $6. I'd like the option to get 5 for $3. All in all the bill came to about $25 for a good amount of food with some left to bring home.
My girlfriend and I have definitely found our new favorite place.
I ordered a pizza for my kids and a Buffalo tender dinner for myself. My two year olds are pretty picky but loved the pizza. It was super good! One of the better in the city. Fries tasted fresh. Everything was great. Delivery driver was super nice. Everyone was friendly from the phone call to delivery.
The greek pizza was amazing! It had a perfect amount of feta, tomatoe and spinach. All the appetizers we sampled were cooked to perfection! The cook definitely was on his A game today nice to see love put into his craft. The workers were so welcoming and genuinely wanted to make sure we were happy! Most definitely will be back!
NEW MANAGEMENT. The new owner is great. He is well aware of what this places reputation was..which was horrible...before he bought it and is doing everything he can to turn it around. He is very grateful for all the business he has and very polite. The food is great, if there is an issue he will do everything he can to fix it. If you had a previous bad experience with anything give it another try now. You won't be disappointed
Pretty good pizza.....better than typical shops around town that mostly do thick Greek style crust. I enjoyed the "Italian Pizza" with ham and salami and banana peppers. I'd get it again.
