The staff always appear friendly to me. I think the poor selection may be the fact that we are living in a pandemic. No worse than any supermarket I've been to in the past two years.

I would have to agree with the most recent post! I too had the same experience.! Seems that the service has gone downhill. I ordered 2 lbs of Salmon and I was told a little over, at 2.75 lbs. The clerk just couldn't get it right. I was disgusted at the way he was squashing that piece of fish I was about to purchase! Bye,Bye Wilfred's Sea Food !

I don't know what is going on at this place. I have been coming here for years and in the past would have given 4 or 5 stars but all that is in the past. If you ask for a pound and a half they never (always some new help it seems lately) even get close. This never used to happen and lately it's the way they do business. Happened today with some Halibut and the clerk told me it was close enough. It was only just over a pound. Ended up getting nothing as this rude behavior is just not acceptable. Come on Wilfred's supervise the help a little. They'll kill your business, bad news travels quickly.

I actually myself do not live in Rhode Island but my boyfriend does live in the area and he brought me the seafood casserole it is absolutely to die for delicious.... F it was up to me I would eat it at least twice to 3 times out of the week it is that good...😍💯🐟

I went to get some lobsters I asked for a 2 pound and two 1 and a half pound so the man put a three and a half pound and 2 one pound ones in when I questioned him he said that's what I have you can go look through the tank if you want very disappointed.

On Oct.15, 2016 I purchased baked scrod at IGA in North Scituate.
After eating the scrod I started vomiting and diarrhea. I was so sick from this fish that as I was vomiting and I smelled bleach come out of my mouth. After being sick for 3 days of vomiting/diarrhea I ended up in the emergency treatment center getting 4 bags of IV . I was still sick for 4 days thereafter . I called the dept, of health and all fish was removed from the IGA. I will never eat fish from this place again!!! I suspect them of using bleach to make the fish last longer which is totally illegal. Which explains the bleach smell coming out of my mouth. I want to give this no stars but the site won't allow me to.
