Probably the highlight of our getaway! The food was absolutely delicious and the servers were quite attentive during entire time. Probably the best food that Woodstock has to offer. Do book in advance as the place is quite well known in the area. Each meal course had its own character and most importantly, most ingredients get sourced out by local farms which reflects and contributes to the quality of their dishes. The Turkish delight panacotta was out of this world. Will definitely be back soon!

Silvia is a “must go to” when in Woodstock! My boyfriend and I had the wood fired pita and whipped butter with honey to start- amazing! Don’t miss out on it. Next we had the five lettuce salad- so flavorful I’m happy we got this! For dinner I had the mushroom and pasta rags- I’m still thinking about it 3 days later because it was that good! My boyfriend had the chicken schnitzel and it was great! I left this restaurant feeling full but not in a bad way! It was amazing and I’m looking forward to my next trip back just to go to Silvia!!

Having dined at SILVIA many times with friends, I've always been impressed by their consistent excellence in both food and service. Recently, my wife, infant, and I decided to revisit, and Silvia didn't disappoint. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable with our little one, without compromising the upscale ambiance. The food, as always, was a delightful culinary experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Silvia to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

We had made reservations for the five of us on a relatively quiet Friday evening in Woodstock, and the town was quiet because everyone had lined up or were waiting to be seated at Silvia's! Reservations highly recommended though, as we still had to wait a few minutes before being seated in our extremely comfortable booth seating which was perfect for our toddler!
We started off a few cocktails which included a nice mezcal drink and old fashioned, and also a rather disappointing Szechuan mule. The Szechuan mule lacked the peppercorn taste and was very mediocre. The other two drinks were absolutely amazing though.
For appetizers, we ordered a few things which included Mushroom Lentin Pate ($17), Lamb Merguez and Wild Shrimp ($24), Smoked Beet ($15), Patatas Bravas ($15), and some toast. The Mushroom Pâté was absolutely delicious and was the best appetizer, followed by Smoked Beet and the lamb. Patatas bravas were good too, while they were warm but as soon as they got a little cold, they became very dry to eat. Decent portion sizes, enough to fill us up, but we also ended up ordering the Local Mushroom & Pasta Rags ($32) which was packed with a lot of flavor. Highly recommend that plate to anyone out there is a vegetarian. The most delicious Pasta I've had in recent times!
Special shoutout to Aaron, our server who took really good care of us. Very friendly and welcoming, and ensured we had a pleasant evening. Service overall was excellent and food came within 20 mins of ordering. Noise level were on the average end and the menu overall was definitely on the expensive side of things.
We will visit again, specifically for their Local Mushroom & Pasta Rags!

Really enjoyed the food; some nice floral touches through the menu with lavender and rose. Especially loved the endive salad with 'nduja. Everything we had was very good.
Parking can be a bit tricky. The small car park at the back of the restaurant is only for disabled spots and employees.

Everything we had was sublime. The beets were smoked to perfection and tantalized my tastebuds in ways unfamiliar yet pleasing. Cashew key lime pie was also very good (and I’m not a vegan!); 10/10 and great cocktails too!!

The food was good, but was generally missing a note in each dish. More spice would make this place an absolute must visit for anyone going to Woodstock.

Beautiful restaurant with open kitchen and large windows. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared.
Minus one ⭐️ as the staff conducted themselves with an odd combination of accommodation and indifference. Almost as if they’re programmed to provide good service, so long as you don’t make any specific requests. My husband and I sat at the bar with intention of having dinner at a leisurely pace. We put in an order for starters and was told that we had to place our entire order at once - which we did with request that it be coursed out with ample time in between. The bartender agreed, but then the first course arrived immediately with the second on its heels. We asked for the last course, a pork chop, to be sliced for sharing. Upon delivery, we were told that the chef was “too busy”, and when we looked over to see that the entire kitchen staff was on break, the bartender just shrugged.
Ultimately, it was a bunch of little things that can make a guest feel like requests will be ignored so long as it’s an inconvenience to staff. Hopefully, management would care to correct this as the experience would have been perfect otherwise.

The hostess was super nice. Atmosphere was super relaxing and open kitchen. Chefs were also very welcoming. Absolutely loved every part of every plate we ordered! The aged steak was perfectly cooked to temp. The halloumi salad appetizer was insane. The whipped butter alone is worth the trip, lol. All the attention to detail is what makes this place amazing. Must visit if in woodstock!

My visit to Silvia’s was a pleasure. We started with the oysters which were paired with the perfect sauce. We then had the seared brussel sprouts which were soft, flavorful, but still carried a nice crunch from the searing. We then had the wood fire Pita which came with the most delicious whipped butter topped with honey and salt. We finished the entire thing!
Our entrees were the Mushroom Pasta which had lovely large pieces of master and very tender pieces of mushrooms, a perfect sauce, and tender pieces of asparagus. We also tried the duck which was excellent. We didn’t try any desserts because we were stuffed but we were very pleased with the service and the food! We received complimentary glasses of champagne as it was my partners birthday. Highly recommend this place for everything from the ambiance(the music wasn’t too loud and the lighting was perfect and soft) to the food and service exceeded expectations
*please note that parking was a little tough*

We've had a house in Woodstock for ten years and know the restaurants in the area well, and were excited to try something new. We arrived at 9:30. After being briefed by our waiter on all the ways the food is sourced we tried to order. My wife asked for the rib eye but was told they were out and she could have a strip steak instead, which she ordered. I asked for the chicken but they were out of that. I had the hamburger instead. We ordered the Korean Barbecue Beef as a starter but it never came. The $42 steak was not nearly as juicy all the discussion about sourcing led us to expect, and the $18 hamburger was tiny and came with a small handful of fries. When we finished we asked that a small piece of leftover steak be put in foil for us to take home to our dogs and asked to see the dessert menu. We were told there was only one dessert option left (the chocolate and cheese board) and ordered it. A few minutes later our waiter showed up with the bill. I assumed he was still bringing the dessert but after about 10 minutes my wife and I looked at the check and realized we wouldn't be getting any dessert. When we asked our waiter for the foil with the steak we had hoped to take home to our dogs the waiter matter-of-factly informed us that someone must have grabbed it from the kitchen. No apology.
So net was: two of the four things we ordered weren't available, of the four things we ultimately ordered we received two. We never got the steak we had asked to have wrapped up for us to take home to our dogs.
It wasn't just that the service was bad. It was surreal. We won't be going back to Silvia or recommending it to any of our friends here.

A fantastic addition to the Woodstock dining scene. The space is beautiful inside and out. Nice large bar area with terrific craft cocktails. The food was superb and the service very good. Our party of four has a bit of many things, grilled eggplant was great, the wood fired meat dishes well executed and the seafood stew wonderful. Hoping for more fish to be wood roasted and looking forward to an extended wine list (fingers crossed) but the small selection was interesting and matched the food well. This will be our new go to spot!

Absolutely fabulous dining experience, food and service were both incredible. We ate tons of organic veggies and raw cashew cheese( which was to die for) and raw chocolate torte and raw key lime pie too.... one of the best food nights ever!!! Woodstock at its best!

We just stopped in for a drink but ended up getting salads. The food was great, the vibe was nice. The owner chatted with us and gave us some history on the building and the business, it was gracious of him to take the time. Ask about the history of the place and who has been there. There is a deck and a very nice dining room with a lot of windows. Definitely worth a try.

I've eaten here twice in the past week. They food is awesome! The watermelon salad is amazing, the vegetables are phenomenal, I have not had a single disappointment. The only thing I don't love is the noise level. The music plays loudly, and people trying to be heard over it get very loud. (were asked them to turn the music down twice, which they did, but then it was turned up again at some point.) but in the warm weather sit outside. it's quieter and the deck is lovely.

My new favorite restaurant in Woodstock (if not all of Upstate NY.) The food was really excellent. I'm a big meat eater and loved the spiced lamb steaks done over a wood fired grill. The Cauliflower Steaks and Vegetable dishes were also seriously tasty. Great warm atmosphere in an open kitchen style. Would definitely return.

Had such a great dinner here on Saturday. We were a large group and shared a bunch of dishes. Everything was delicious, but some standouts for me were the Korean BBQ beef, the watermelon and halloumi salad, the grilled eggplant, and the spiced lamb. Really amazing cooking, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous.

Love this place! The only place in town where you can get deviled eggs. The staff is great. I want to make it a weekly habit to come here.
Jen Hicks
The place will be great in a month when they work all the kinks out. Door didn't work in the one and only bathroom (crazy there is only one bathroom!) no hooks under the bar for bags and the bar has very few seats but the place looks nice, it's well staffed and the drinks were wonderful. We didn't eat but we'll come back .

I wanted our waiter to just be our server. Not our food curator. My food loving friends were all put off. The cocktails came later - after the appetizers were served . Not before . The appetizers were delicious . The second round of drinks were late too with excuse that there was a "snag " at the bar . The server spilled a whole drink on a member of our party . No one in charge of the restaurant came by to take or check on this mistake . Goofs happen but then someone always has to come by and cheer up the table with an apology and smile . The management of service needs to step up to the task - in consideration of the prices. I'm hearing hit or miss from people in Woodstock . Which means it's all new. The building inside and out is totally gorgeous. I'll try it again . $500 for 8 ppl.

What an awesome place for a dinning experience. Woodstock desperately needed this place. You must go check it out!

Had dinner last night at Silvia- amazing just like I new it would be! We tried several dishes and all four of us in our group thought it was the BEST food ever!! We are so lucky to have this GEM in our town!!!

Loved it !!! The shrimp and corn chowder amazing as were the muscles !!! Very good service !!

Excellent cioppino and grilled hake entrees! We sat in the warmly decorated alcove by the bar. Only negative were several brusque interruptions by our waiter who was seemingly unaware of, or indifferent to, our conversations, and who continued to encourage the purchase of a full bottle of wine despite our repeated desire to order single glasses. We look forward to returning!
