Under new ownership. Country charm on the outskirts of Wolfboro. Great appetizers. Main courses feature variable portions. I had the scallops. Only three on the plate with minimal vegetables and potatoes. The chicken dish came with a leg and a thigh along with a large salad. I love salt, but the main dishes were too salty. Service was friendly but slow. I would imagine that the salt in the main dishes will decrease and the service will improve given time.

Recently reopened under new ownership and after lots of pre-opening preparations. We didn't sample the appetizers, but they had a creative selection. We tried two of their signature cocktails, both of which were very good and refreshing. I had the rotisserie pork loin. My wife had the rotisserie chicken. Both were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We shared the French chocolate pudding for dessert. We're very happy to have such a nice restaurant nearby. Look forward to returning.

Service was good. Server provided excellent descriptive info and details regarding menu choices. Food was outstanding. Pricing fair. Atmosphere was comfortable and pleasing. A little "loud", but to be fair they were very busy at the time.

So disappointed. What happened to your chef! You were out of linguine, so I ordered gnocchi and my friend ordered risotto. The gnocchi was dried out and the risotto like chalk. I have never written a bad review before but this food was inedible. Also no wine list available. Really. Huge change from my prior experience. Our waitress was embarrassed.

Our party of seven ate here last night. Everything was perfect! The lighting was low, but not so low that we weren't able to read the menus. There was no irritating background music, and we were actually able to hear each other talk. Three of us ordered the same shrimp entree, and that and the other four dinners were perfectly prepared and delicious. I'm looking forward to leftover ribs for dinner tonight... Thanks to the owners for giving us a new favorite restaurant.

30 plus years. Good wine list, awesome desserts, lobster bisque the signature soup. Salads, hand-cut steaks and chops, fresh fish and shellfish and nightly blackboard specials. Open seasonally May 1st through October 31, serving dinner. Open at 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday. Monthly wine and food pairings always a good time and well attended. Well-seasoned well trained staff. Catering on and off premise available. Loyal local following for 33 years and still doing what makes us happy.

Such an incredible environment for casual and or formal dining. Very rare for a place to be so down-home and high class both at once. Friendly staff and hospitality. This place is a gem!
