Stopped in today for lunch. Even though the place was almost completely full, we snagged 2 seats at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and efficient. Gave us just the right amount of time to decide we’d have what we always have when we go here. Burgers of course! Everything was excellent as usual.

It’s always a pleasure eating at Monks. The burgers are great. The beer is always cold. The service is always on point. The monkey fries are delicious! This is my go-to spot to have a quick beer, or two, or six and a bite to eat while on the strip. Nothing else compares. If you are in downtown Wisconsin Dells, stop here. It’s a little on the small side and is not situated for larger groups but they may be able to work something out. If you want the same great food and service, but have a larger group, check out their other location in front of Wilderness Resort, about 10 minutes away. Thumbs way up. 👍🏻
