Great selection of food for all the different taste buds the family may have. Price is decent for the amount of food you're able to select. Great sushi, hibachi and other buffet items. Beside sushi and hibachi, I love the coconut shrimp (after 4pm) and the seafood broil

Really good food and a decent atmosphere. I'm glad they don't update because they'd probably up their price. Overall this place is pretty good. But I did learn that sometimes they have an issue with their card reader which causes multiple charges. They are always careful to refund the extra charges but I will be making sure to use an aircard from now on. The total for 2 people is only $43 so when they authorize the card multiple times this can get pricey fast. Overall not a huge complaint because this does happen from time to time. And to prepare yourself you can use prepaid virtual cards that link to one physical card so the card can only be ran for what you authorize it for. It avoids overdrafts and keeps people from skimming your card

Food options are great, always seems more packed then other buffets such as golden coral. Definitely feels Like a free for all when it comes to other guests and the lack of rules or signage. Watched a kid stick his head under the protective barrier to smell the food, not a issue for management unless you blame them for not having signs against unaccompanied minors or children must be supervised. Staff Definitely appear unwelcoming, and unhelpful. Watched other guests ask for something only to be brushed off with its at every table, seemingly unwilling to show the guests where something is. A staff member rudely excused himself as he walked through the aisle and nearly knocked a plate out of a guest hands, unwilling to stop and wait for the patron to cross the aisle to their seat. Food is good though.

It is extremely difficult to please several people at once, so it's harder to please dozens of them at once. This restaurant was pack and have an abundance of meals ready to eat. I have never seen such a huge buffet. The food tasted delicious and fresh for the most part. Recommended.

Buffet City is a hidden culinary treasure in Polk County! It's undoubtedly the best Chinese buffet I've come across in the area. The variety of dishes they offer is impressive, and the flavors are top-notch. What's even more appealing is their fairly priced menu, making it a fantastic value for the quality and quantity of food you get.
One of the highlights is their fantastic sushi selection, which pleasantly surprised me with its freshness and taste. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a fan of Chinese cuisine or just want a satisfying buffet experience, Buffet City is a delightful choice!

Go here way more often than I should, almost always a great experience. Only 4 stars out of 5 because while MOST of the time servers are really attentive, occasionally get one that is rude.
Prices are decent, especially for lunch, even though going up recently.
Food is very filling and haven't out of the maybe 25 times I've been here, haven't had any issues with the quality.
