THAI HOT: My first time having Thai food & it didn't disappoint. The portion sizes here are large, the staff is awesome, restaurant is clean, & you can choose your spice level when it comes to any dish you order. Ordered the Ginger Duck & it was crispy & very flavorful. Chose Thai Hot spice level & I was almost sweating the whole time. You can also order extra spice on the side if you wish. The rice comes out in the shape of a heart, which is adorable. Would definitely come back.
I recently had a lunch experience with my family at Thai Blossoms Restaurant in Winter Garden, and unfortunately, it left us feeling disappointed. Despite the quick seating and fast service, the lack of authentic Thai flavors was a letdown. The restaurant seemed to lean more towards Americanized Thai food, which didn't meet our expectations. For our appetizers, we ordered chicken satay and summer rolls. While the summer rolls were enjoyable, the chicken satay was disappointingly oily. The excessive oiliness detracted from the overall taste and left us wanting more. Moving on to the main course, we opted for orange chicken, kid chicken fried rice, and regular chicken fried rice. Unfortunately, both fried rice dishes were excessively oily. The greasiness overshadowed the flavors and made the dishes less enjoyable than we had hoped. Overall, our lunch experience at Thai Blossoms Restaurant fell short of our expectations. The lack of authentic Thai flavors and the excessive oiliness in some of the dishes left us unimpressed. While the quick service, friendly waitresses and fast food delivery were positive aspects, they were not enough to compensate for the disappointment in the taste of the food.
I love Thai Blossom - I love Thai food, I’ve been coming here for many years, and this restaurant is always consistently very good! They have great quality of food, great service, and a great atmosphere inside. It’s an icon to Winter Garden and always an amazing choice if you’re in this area for dinner! No matter what I’ve ordered here, I’ve always been very happy - their portion sizes are also super big for some dishes, so you might even have a whole second meal when you order something! The tom yum soup (and the version with coconut milk) is excellent, pad Thai is perfect, their cashew nut chicken is really good, and Thai basil duck is pretty much a go-to all the time for me. I have tried their massaman, panang and yellow curries - all super good and definitely worth getting. Their seafood entrees are awesome as well! I love the “Seafood Shipwreck”, nam prik pao, and many other seafood dishes. And as for appetizers, you could order pretty much anything - nam sod, satay chicken, potstickers, fried wontons, summer rolls, etc. - and it’ll pretty much always be good! I definitely recommend coming multiple times, trying a range of different entree items (noodles, stir-fry, basil duck, etc.), and truly seeing what this restaurant is capable of. You will not be disappointed!
