Don’t get this placed confused with the old owners etc. This place has greatly improved since the change of management and ownership. Food is a bit pricey but it’s good and fresh. Included pictures of the entire menu as well.

We didn’t enjoy it. They were out of all soups and a few other menu items. Appetizer dumplings tasted strange and my teen boys that normally eat any and everything didn’t even finish them. Salad was just lettuce and carrot slivers. Sushi took a while but was pretty good. First entree came 30 minutes into the meal and mine came 15 minutes later. Boys were finished eating before I even got mine. Hibachi entrees were mostly sticky gummy fried rice. Shrimp were tail on and mixed into veggies. To top it off, they do not serve alcohol. If you serve subpar food, are missing menu items and hold us hostage and hungry, the least you can do is give me a glass of wine to wash down the disappointment.

Observations: Sanitation score 91.5, not great. Waitress- wearing face mask only covering mouth and chin. Sushi chef- face mask hanging from ear while prepping uncooked food and walking through restaurant to deliver food to tables. No gloves. Hibachi chef- no mask. Soap dispenser in men’s room, empty. Very old jelly beans left on chalkboard at entrance. Like, seriously, old. The food- not bad, not great, probably comes with a side of Covid and facial hair, cheap. I hate wearing a face mask but these are the times we’re in...

Went at lunch. Ordered the Miyako steak and was surprised at the amount and taste which was delicious. Wish I lived closer. Two thumbs up.

Our favorite sushi restaurant in Winston-Salem! It is so fresh and delicious! The crab salad and the stingray roll are my must haves every time!

We drove 30 minutes specifically for the sushi and left with no sushi. My husband order teriyaki chicken and I ordered a tuna roll and sunset roll. His plate came out fairly quick so I figured mine was almost ready. I sat for 30-45 minutes waiting for my sushi. I got so mad we just paid for his food and left. And of course right as we’re walking out the door my sushi just happened to be ready. Their excuse? “We have a lot of to-go orders.” No one checked to make sure our table was okay, no one told me if they were working on my sushi. I had to flag down a waitress just to get a refill. It was awful. Ended up going next door to Lowe’s Foods for sushi.

I love this place. It used to be better, they used to have fish cakes in their house soup which I absolutely loved (I still do but the meat has gotten less and less over the years) and they don’t have them anymore which has made me mad several times. Like is their a shortage? I don’t understand.. Anyway, they are one of the few places that will fry sushi. Which is absolutely delicious. Their white sauce is the best in Davidson county with great prices. Their chicken is a little over cooked sometimes but I understand that it can be easy to overcook chicken. I will continue to love this place! So long as too much doesn’t keep changing that is!

Terrible service, waitress was rude and lacked basic customer service. Restaurant had distinct odor water stains all over ceiling. Maybe the sushi is good but anything other is bland and tasteless and not worth the money. Waited over 15 minutes for just a refill. Place is a joke.
