Cedar Landing

Pros; the service was pretty good. Catfish was decent as well. Loaded Potato was good. These brought it up to 2 from 1. Neutral; shrimp was ok but over cooked a bit. Price for most of the menu was reasonable. Cons; chicken was over cooked to the point peta should be called for animal abuse 😕 it was just dry and to be blunt, not good. Okra was soggy and greasy. The steamed vegetables were bland and tasted freezer burnt. All in all, a few pros but unfortunately just the majority of the meal wasn’t good. I hate to knock a locally owned restaurant, but it is what it is 🤷🏻.

It was ok, nothing to call home about, could've given me more fries, only got like 15-20 fries, McDonald's probably gives you more fries in a small. Need to consider expanding the menu just a bit, wouldn't hurt them to have a signature dish or two, like a fried green tomato burger with a remoulade sauce or something. They probably only get as much business as they do because it's the only restaurant in the area. Food was reasonably priced but you can tell they don't actually care about the food or the way it looks and they just send it anyway. The mashed potatoes are definitely instant potatoes, can't even bother to add a little milk and butter or sour cream to hide it. Overall just a very mediocre experience.
