Today was my first time eating at Caliendos. I have nothing bad to say! I had great service and a great pizza! And our waitress was great _:
My family and I went here today for Easter brunch and were very impressed. The food was fresh, great quality, and excellent tasting. Their waitstaff did an excellent job keeping everything clean and the food stocked. The restaurant was busy but not overly crowded and very kid friendly. Thank you!
Loved the customer service! I got lunch here on my way to a park nearby and their food was delicious. I went ahead and ordered a chicken wrap accompanied by a salad pasta. Both were very well made. The lady standing me (forgot her name 😔) was super kind and very patient as I made up my mind on what to eat. If I ever go around there again, I'd definitely stop by again. It was also super affordable (coming from Chicago standards)

Is it an italian restaurant, diner, bar, pizza place, or ice cream shop? Yes! It is all of these, and it has separate entrances and walls dividing each. As a restaurant and diner, the pasta dishes we had were excellent. Very tasty and well paired with their sauces. The bread loaf provided was soft, hot, and had the perfect amount of butter and garlic on top. It is a great table loaf to share with your family. The patty melt I ordered medium but came out very well done but did have a nice grilled flavor, and just as a preference, the onions could have been sautéed either a little longer to better soften OR a little less to keep a crispness - these were right in between which left them right at that rubbery phase. However it's ingredients were spot on for a good combination of flavor. The personal kid cheese pizza is my only reference of their pizza - it was very good and I imagine their typical larger versions would likely be better. I would like to return and try a chicago favorite pizza to confirm, as my incling is that it is likely great. The bar is a good size, looks comfortable and well arranged for sports viewing and social outings, and they had quite a crowd for a Sunday afternoon; i also noticed they are a Chicago Blackhawks bar. I liked the pizza takeout entrance - the small ice cream shop inside there is a great offering and touch.
Everything about this place was great. They had a HUGE private party going on at the same time I was there. However, the service was GREAT. Food came out promptly and tasted amazing. Even ordered a pizza to go and it was timed perfectly. Coming out exactly at the end of my meal. I will be back! You should try it as well!
The most delicious eggplant parmesan I have ever had! Husband enjoyed his sausage and peppers too
Stopped on a Sunday afternoon on a whim and had the absolute BEST waitress, Erika, serve us the BEST thin crust pizza! It's a bit of a drive for a weekday, but would love a Sunday do-over 😉
Shyann our server is probably the best server I’ve had in awhile. She took care of my group and I the whole time we were here and all I have to say is top notch! 10/10 will come again.
I ordered the daily special, giambotta-sausage and peppers with potatoes, it was delicious!! The waitress brought me some bread to soak up the olive oil and spices. I will be back to try something else off the extensive menu...

Caliendo's was just what we needed after a long day of driving! The food is spectacular, the service is amazing!
Food is well made and very flavorful! Melissa was our waitress and treated us very well. She recommended her personal favorites and suggested the Goomba on the menu. We ordered it and it was the best thing we ate here! I'd definitely recommend it myself. If you eat here, see if Melissa is working; super kind and fun to talk to!
Absolutely amazing food such big portions this place is filled with tv screens with the latest sports, pooltables ,darts, outdoor seating the have lotto you can play aswell came in for quick Appetizer I had THE FAMILIA COMBO and omg was delicious my waitress was absolutely amazing She did such a awsome job holding down the whole place on her waiting on ppl outside inside at the bar Dawn M. You did amazing for being alone ty for such good service....
