Bar Shade Grill

Delicious take out dinner! After a very long day of travel, I was extremely hungry and tired. I was a guest at the Doubletree Hotel and wanted to grab take out and dine in the privacy of my guestroom. Never having visited this hotel nor it's restaurant I wasn't sure what my experience would be. However, not only was the Shade Bar and Grill convenient, my dinner was delicious, served fresh and hot! I ordered the Cheeseburger and fries, perfect meal after a long day. My burger was huge, cooked perfectly. It was served with a side of large steak fries. My server was very polite and efficient, making sure I had all the necessary condiments. From my quick glance, the menu had many items to consider and was reasonably priced. Although I didn't dine in the restaurant, my brief observation was a very pleasant, laid-back atmosphere. In fact, if I return to the hotel in the future, I will most certainly consider dining in the restaurant. Fantastic dinner and experience!

We were told misinformation today on CHRISTMAS of all days that the bar was buy one drink, get one app for free. We get to the bar and get charged. Though is was misinformation from the front desk of the hotel, the restaurant general manager, Delroy refused to honor what we were told and sent me back to the front desk for further assistance when in all honesty, he could have taken responsibility at the establishment he manages. I will be contacting his manager Mohomed tomorrow to see if some resolution can be reached. But it should never take this much when we were given wrong info
