The Windham Restaurant

Nice atmosphere, good food, and even better service! It has a nice setting for a date or to bring family. The space is a little tight, but that’s not a big issue. The waitresses were hustling and attentive. Our food came out quickly and hot despite it being a full house. Portion sizes were good too. Glad we got a reservation as we likely would have had to wait (6:30pm)! Would recommend this place to anyone. We are sure to be back again and are happy to have this Italian restaurant nearby.

The calimari is the best I’ve have so far. It’s has great ratio for its clothing, crispy and they do remove the oil. When you finish it you won’t find any oil on the plate! The bread they provide is also great! And the desert chocolate cake is amazing too! Not too sweet, making a great match with ice cream and cream!

Went early (5pm) on a Saturday night. Good thing we did because soon after we got quickly seated, the place got packed. I had planned on getting the surf and turf which is lollipop lamb chops and shrimp but after reviewing the menu in person I noticed they had a lollipop lamb app and a pumpkin tortellini app! Sold! I actually convinced my husband to go against his grain and order 2 apps vs a main meal. He opted for General Tsos chicken app and fried mozzarella app. He drank water and I had a hot tea despite the very tempting martini list. The lamp was ordered med-rare and was on temp with the exception of one which was over but the tenderness was still there. The tortellini were yummy but a bit garlic forward for me. I like a sage/nutmeg forward flavor. Hubby really liked his General Tsao and felt it was not too spicy. (Which generally means mild by most standards). He was less impressed with the mozzarella because he didn't enjoy the marinara sauce. I regret not tasting it to get my own opinion. Service was great. Ambiance was great and clean. No supernatural activity again! 😒 lol Will be back again!

Every time I have been the food has been great.. lamb chops are amazing. Tonight I had the duck it was also amazing.. my son had haddock and the amount compared to others close by places was extra.. my guy had the rib eye and it was cooked perfect. What stood out tonight from other times we have been was our waitress Chloe! She actually is why I am writing a review! She was amazing! So personable and helpful! Knowing she is there would make me come back! People underestimate what a good waitress can do for your overall experience! I hope the owners see this and let her know!

Didn't know what to expect. Looks like you're walking into someone's house until you open the front door and see what's inside. I had a chicken dish I would have never thought of. It was a huge portion of chicken breast, lightly battered and maybe pan-fried, along with prosciutto and mushrooms more. Almost seemed pricey looking at the menu, but when it arrived and since it became three more meals at home, it was totally worth it

Quite simply, excellent service! They have a terrific classic menu with a lot of options to choose from. My French martini was delicious. The Haddock Italiano was perfectly baked and a nice healthy option for a dinner special. My husband ordered the rib eye and subbed in a Caesar salad for his two sides which was great. The steak was a great value, tender and cooked just right. We were both pleased with our meals and the total experience - we'll be back!

Every time we go to eat here. The food is great and the bread and butter beats any other place around! The staff is accommodating and personable. We typically don’t hit up the bar, but when we did tonight the bar tender was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Out of all the restaurants we visit in the area. We always love coming back here. If you haven’t checked it out. Might I recommend the Haddock or the Shepards pie.
