Chalk it up to the kitchen staff where all this food originates!! I’m a local and have frequented this tavern many times and enjoyed delicious meals but todays visit was lacking on a few levels. The chicken Parmesan cutlet was substantial but lacked seasoning and the spaghetti was average, reheated and sub par. ($16) The cheesesteak lacked taste, asked for cheese and noticed none. ($11) A couple of pieces of cheese would have made ALL the difference. The salad was fresh and topped with a nice assortment. The most disappointing was the greasy, boxed, frozen shrimp, over sauced Cole slaw and those French fries were mediocre, frozen and over fried and first time in years I added salt to my fries. ($14) I would rather have 4 FRESH Battered SHRIMP than 9 over breaded mini variety. It’s the sign of the times when bars and taverns have to cut costs somewhere and food instead of alcohol always gets the short end of the stick. They present a menu that folks can stop in and dine out within the budget although the prices do not reflect quality of food Beer is king here!

Place is about as mediocre as you can get in a area that lacks real sit down restaurants. Anything that isn’t from a fryer that’s hard to mess up is a pass. The pizza is especially awful, you would assume a place like this would be sell personal sized bar pies, but they have an entire menu page dedicated to pizza so you would assume it might be halfway decent, instead it’s a greasy mess, complete with halfway cooked flour under ever slice, a sauce that’s obviously from a can and a crust so hard it’s not even edible. They would be better off just dropping pizza from the menu. The only thing stopping this place from getting 1 star is the servers are always pleasant.

It was our first time there. We had the Corned Beef and Cabbage on their St Patrick's Day Specials. It was Fantastic!! 👍 I'd rate it more stars if I could!! We'll definitely be back in the future.

The food and service were phenomenal. We both got burgers that we're cooked perfectly. The server (Sara) was fast and attentive to all our needs. Just moved to the area and will likely be coming back weekly!

I had ordered a Cobb salad and had requested crispy chicken ( which was told to me was possible ) instead of grilled chicken for pick up. When I got there to get it, it was grilled and there was no dressing w the salad. When we advised them it was not crispy, I heard the cook say to the other workers " that's what the salad comes with". I understand that but if I requested something specific, then that is what I am thinking I am getting. I am not sure if the person that took my order did not tell them but that is not my fault. And they didn't even apologize.

We're local and like to patronize local businesses around the surrounding towns. Always served decent food here but noticed since Covid, the food is more expensive for cheaper options and value is gone. I would think the offset of a bar would make enough profit to serve affordable food. Nope. We ordered the fried shrimp, FF and slaw plate ($15). The shrimp was greasy, medium sized, frozen product piled high by a hugh mound of tepid fries and oversauced slaw. The cheese steak sandwich with sauce on the side was served with no noticeable cheese and tasted overcooked. Sauce was good.$10 The chicken parm dinner included a nice portion of real chicken, breaded and sauced, with side of re-heated spaghetti. Side salad was a plus! ($14) These issues are kitchen related and the heart of a restaurant starts with a competent cook. But if the priority is alcohol, it's a place I'll pass on every time.
