Winchester 96 Truck Stop

This is a really good Gem among truck stops. Better food than Denny's or IHOP or the waffle House. Great prices. Among other hidden things this location is pretty much a hideaway. Off the beating path. I found it again and went for the top notch sunny side up eggs and premium Bacon. Added the lunch order to of pot roast with excellent real mashed potatoes and white gravy. I loved my meal and bought 2 mug root beers for my meal. Yummy 😋 No pics I ate it too fast

If you are expecting a Love's or a Pilot, TA, etc., this ain't it. If you like to zoom through truck-stop parking lots, you ain't doing that here. Store hours are 6AM to 10PM, so be aware. People inside are just as nice as they can be. The person taking your food order is more than likely the same one that cooked it, or will be cooking it. If you don't see what you want, ask, they might be able to accommodate you. In short, this is a place out of time, in that this is the way most truck-stops used to be. If you're used to corporate, go on back to it, and good luck finding a place to park.
