7-eleven

Amazing staff here! We accidentally locked our key in the car while getting gas and had to wait for someone to help. As we waited, the staff were extremely welcoming and polite. They interacted with our four children, held friendly conversations with my introverted self, and went above/beyond to help us feel comfortable in this situation. (There was also a point beforehand where I accidently sprayed slushi everywhere and the young man there was very nice about it.)

I will do my best to share this with the corporate 7-11 team. I show up to this place yesterday and watch the cashier make a transaction of some type that doesn’t include me for about seven minutes. She was reaching across the glass window to the point of sale machine and hitting buttons and then scanning things. It looked incredibly shady, but that’s 7-Eleven‘s problem. My problem is that I sat there and watched her do this and didn’t get rung up. I was buying ice cream and I decided I probably didn’t need it anyway so I just walked out. This all happened yesterday evening sometime after 8 o’clock. The POS machine was saying $500 so again, seemed shady.

The movie "Trainspotting" features a memorable scene regarding, what has to be, the worst toilet in Scotland. The toilet at the 7-11 at 2035 NORTHWESTERN PIKE makes that one look like Caesar's Palace. It was filthy, wretched, paperless and without a doubt, the least sanitary "restroom" I have ever seen. I took one look and turned around. They make bathroom cleanser, you know, for addressing areas like this. They also male mops, brooms AND you even sell toilet paper in your store. Either clean and sanitize your restroom or nail the door shut!

I just want management to know about some issues I have observed at this location. I came in last week to buy 1 item and the cashier NEVER EVEN SPOKE to me; she was upset and complaining the entire time to another co-worker about an employee that had LEFT HER ALONE in the store. I paid and said "thank you" and she still ignored me. Last night (Oct 4th) I walked in around 7pm and there wasn't ANYONE up front. I stood at the registers and waited...I could see a girl in the back washing dishes while another girl was sitting down just looking at her cell phone. The floors were filthy as well. I just walked out. Anyone could have walked in and stolen things and they wouldn't have known. I'm sure this is a huge safety issue as well.

I lost my wedding ring, noticed it after my visit to the gas station. I've been trying to call since 5am this morning and no one will pick up. Unfortunately I work a 24hr shift and can't make it back today to make sure it's not in the trash bin. Anyone with a direct number to make contact would be appreciated.

Took them 10 minutes to ring up an employees purchases because they couldn't do it right the first time, no gas, the line was 5 people long and the young man was only worried about cooking pizzas for an employee and didn't even try to multi task to get the line down. I'll take my money elsewhere, not waiting 15 minutes to buy 1 drink to get cash back.
