I was at Village Square Restaurant for Winchester Restaurant Week and I was interested in trying the "Duroc Pork Roulade with candied walnuts, spinach, Gruyere cheese over Yukon potato mousse & cherry demi glace" I have a slight walnut allergy and wanted to know if the walnuts could be left out or eaten around. The waiter said he would ask. A few minutes later, the chef came out to talk to me and said he did not feel comfortable exposing me to an allergen. He then offered to specially prepare a version of the dish without the walnuts. I am glad he was so accommodating because it was delicious! Everything was great! The waiter was very attentive. The employees certainly went over the top to make it a great evening and meal.

It was our 45th wedding anniversary and we enjoyed a fabulous dinner and drinks with family. Liz, our waitress, was exceptional and very attentive.

What a great little find for dinner. This was a busy night with a wedding party in one of the other rooms. The food came quickly and was delicious. We both finished our food...

My daughter and I took my mother/her grandmother to the Mother’s Day brunch yesterday. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation, and were seated instantly. The brunch was a preset menu, which had quite a variety of options, as well as complimentary drinks with each course. We all ordered different things and tried each other‘s dishes, they were flavorful and very good. Our waitress was knowledgeable and very friendly. Overall, we had an excellent experience!

Always a great experience. A great choice in Winchester for a fresh and creative meal. The menu and its ingredients rotate based on the season and blends flavors to form the perfect foods! We started out with their homemade biscuits, which are truly the best I've had (coming from a carb lover). The chophouse salad was fresh and perfectly dressed. The cod goujons was fried to perfection, and aside from being perfectly seasoned, the preserved lemon tartar sauce that accompanied it was amazing! The scallops were also amazing, and I'm still obsessed with the succotash and sundried tomato/chimoy sauce!! The staff is always very helpful, punctual, and friendly. Everyone was very attentive and always making sure we had enough water and dishes were cleared immediately. Their attention to great service is truly superb. Ambiance is quaint and rustic with elegance. Perfect for date night! Highly recommend to try at least once (though trust me, it'll turn into numerous occasions)!

I truly enjoyed this restaurant. Very nice staff. The general Tso's shrimp appetizer was very good. The halibut burger was surprisingly delicious. The strawberry short cake was absolutely amazing!!! It was a little on the expensive side, but worth it. I would definitely go back to explore more menu items. At least stop in for a dessert !!!! I am telling you the strawberry short cake was heaven 😋

I love this place. The setting is so cozy and the building alone is worth walking around. Holiday special drinks turned out excellent, loved the sparkly Ladies in Pink drink and the holiday pecan martini which tasted a bit like marshmallows. The oysters were fresh and briny, the clams in white wine sauce were perfect- my favorite dish of the evening. For dessert the cookies and cream bread pudding is a must. Everyone there was very friendly and made sure we had a great experience.

Overall very nice. We had the Sunday Brunch. Food quality and presentation were excellent, atmosphere and decor very nice, historic building on pedestrian mall. Would have been 5 star except for the inexperience of the youthful servers. Beverage order never delivered, and bill presented before we were finished with desert. Service was very friendly and prompt.

Lovely place to sit outside and watch the crowds. Good food with friendly service. Stay away from the gnocchi unless you like very creamy sauce. Asparagus soup quite good as were the oysters
