Had family visiting from Hawaii and California, took them to Jack’s for brunch. Overall it was good service and meal. Waitress was very friendly. J’s bloody Mary was incredible! The eggs Benedict was delicious I just wish there was a bit more hollandaise sauce on my plate. Overall everyone enjoyed their food. My uncles sunny side up eggs look to be a little crispy on the edges. He was OK with it but I think the grill was a bit too hot. I also noticed the omelette my wife ordered seem to be a little brown she was OK with it but if I ordered it I would’ve had to send it back. Overall good experience and I would recommend Jack’s to friends & family and I will definitely be back.

We came here to celebrate New Years day. They weren't too busy at 6pm. We were given bread and butter but the butter was a no for me. The herbs in it was too much. We got the lobster mac and cheese, and that was the highlight of our dinner. I ordered the carbonara pasta. The chicken was nice but the sauce tasted like mayo. It didn't taste creamy. The cocktail that I ordered was too sweet, syrupy. Our waitress was pleasant.
Overall, it's a decent upscale restuarant with a casual vibe (background music was 70s/80s hits). I would probably come back to try their brunch.
Went to Jack's last night with the family. Couple of really great things I just wanted to share...They do not have a kids menu but our waitress went above and beyond to make sure that our girls (4 and 1) had a dish that they could eat (they had pasta w/ marinara). We sat on the patio where the girls would not disturb anyone but still received service as if we were right in the dining room. Food was great, service was great, and once again those pimento hushpuppies were the hit! It was my wife's first trip since new ownership and it was great! We hesitate to go to nicer places with the kids sometime but they certainly made us feel welcome and great!
Had steak and eggs for breakfast on a Sunday and enjoyed it very much. Clean place and professional staff. I wish there were more options for sides to choose from like instead of toast and a salad let me pick grits or something else small on the menu. More people will be happy. Our server was Nora and she was great.
4 stars for the bar area and the fact that they have Blanton's and Buffalo Trace. It's a nice separate room with bar and table seating. Highly recommended for drinks and appetizer.
The restaurant is 3 star. Nothing really wrong with anything but nothing is outstanding. Although the fries with the Smash burger were delicious, and the French Onion soup looked good (mother-in-law said it was). It's good enough for a night out.
I do not like that there are not half stars bc I would give 4.5 stars. I really, really like Jack's. The food is always delicious and the drinks are great! Jeremy, the bar tender, is very good at his job. I do think management needs to get him more help on the patio though. We love to sit outside on the covered patio. The last few visits though the service seems a bit scattered. The waitresses seems to be pulled in many different directions. I don't know if they are new or are having to work the inside also but they just seem rushed. Jeremy often brings drinks out but he has to rush back inside bc he has to cover the bar too. Other than that I really, really enjoy this restaurant.
I found Jacks when I stopped in Wilson while driving up 95. I'm glad I did. I had the French Onion Porkchop that was on the specials menu. I can't find words to describe how good it was. The only downside was the bartender called me Friend way to often for comfort.
