Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Breakfast for lunch or build your own deli sandwich. Lots of old school games and mind teasers to keep you occupied while you wait for your made-to-order sandwich. Will definitely be back!
Quaint hideaway, tucked in the heart of Main Street. Unique sandwiches and the potato salad is really the draw! Definitely don't miss it!
Fresh, original, and vegetarian-friendly. I've been coming to Jen's Deli since I was a kid, and have never had a wrap or sandwich I didn't like. Peter, the chef, is versatile and open to special requests. He will add/drop any ingredient you need, any sandwich can be made into a salad and any meat entree on the menu can be vegetarianized! As a vegetarian this is the easiest place for me to eat, the Veggie Hummus Wrap is my usual, and a local favorite (veggies and non-veggies alike). The Veggie Yum Yum is also delicious (wheatberry bagel stacked with cream cheese and fresh veggies, yum yum). Jen's also has free WiFi, so I come a lot with my laptop for lunch meetings, personal work, etc. Fun/funky atmosphere, lots of locally sourced veggies from area farms/farmers markets, and friendly/creative staff.
Stopped in for lunch and asked what was good. The nice girl working recommended several sandwiches and the Rueben. Figured since it was a deli had to try it. It was good nothing really special about it but a solid sandwich. Good portion size and flavor was good. Employees were all very nice. It wasn't busy at all when I went in. The decor is very unique. Old building that has some cool features and plenty of room in the back. I'm sure I'll stop again. Would definitely recommend for a good sandwich.
This place was wonderful (sandwhichs, chai tea, soup). We are visiting and really enjoyed the lunch spot.
I love the feel and history of Jen's Deli just as much as I love the food. The prices are a bit steep but the quality of the ingredients is obvious and makes up for the price. Parking is sometimes an issue around lunch time and I wish they were open on weekends but other than that I have no complaints and would definitely recommend!
1/3 places to eat in Wilmington. Great sandwiches for reasonable prices. I come here about 1 a week.
I celebrated my birthday this evening in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a marvelous evening and the place was evidently the reason for the strong meeting. The waiters cooperated in a splendid manner, the cuisine was extremely good and my buddies were very glad. We shall definitely visit again for more events. Thank you very much.
We move thus place. Sat outside with the dog. Got the Goodfella sandwich and he got the California. Both delicious. I would order the dressing on the dude fir the California . A bit too much dressing. The slaw was fresh and so good. The dark ciabatta on the Goodfella was soooo good! Wish they sold the bread to take home. Mmmm
The city shouldn’t allow dump trucks to drive down Main street. The noise!
Favorite place to eat when in Wilmington. Great sandwiches and iced coffee!
The Goodfellas sandwich was excellent! They have some toys for kids to play with.
