I have been coming to this establishment since I was in high school over 20 years ago off and all. Shoot some pool, eat some bar food, grab a drink, and have fun. Some night, it's a venue for World Tavern Poker Events. It's always a good time.
I love this place and not just for hanging out on the weekends but the bar food is so good I can feed a family of 4 (picked up to go) for $35! Plus a tip because they deserve it!
My dad used to go here all the time. He loved it. They had great food and the bartender was really sweet. My dad passed away 2 years ago, but I know he'd appreciate me leaving yall a great review !
First pool venue that I didn't feel cramped. Plenty of room to shoot and sit back and enjoy the matches. Bar service and grill are top notch. Owner and staff got it going on too. Highly recommended by this old pool shark!!!!
Stopped in to get some wings, because a few of my passengers tried to convince me that they had some of the best wings in town..... guess what? They were absolutely correct! I had ordered the hot wings with ranch dipping sauce and they were good down to the bone! I was also told that their burgers are delicious as well and that during the afternoon you can get a $5 special so one day when I’m back in the area I will have to give it a try. The place itself is a pretty cool spot back up in the cut and you really would never know it’s there unless someone tells you about it or you drive through Big Lots parking lot. The first time I saw it, I thought it may have been a strip club.... lol.... they have quite a few small tables, the bar and pool tables. Nice spot to chill
This was a long time Wilmington staple especially for those of us in the Ogden / Porter's Neck area for many years. There was always cold beer, warm whiskey and more often than not a great bartender or two running the place. There were known for their pool tables but had other games like darts and plenty of televisions for the whatever was playing. I don't know of they'll be opening again but a lot of people miss having that spot.
I absolutely enjoy every minute i spend there! The staff is great, there's one member named Laci who has one of the best personalities. She lights up the place so if u want to have a great night, shoot some pool play some darts eat some awesome food and just have some good ole plain fun, i recommend u try out Diamonds Grille & Billiards u cant go wrong!!!
You would never think a place like this has food. But they do, and the fried pickles are amazing. They will also give you a mean case of heartburn. But if you drink enough...pepsi maybe you won't notice? Seems like a lot of locals hang out here. It isn't uncommon to see even some genuine Wilmatonians here. People seem nice. Pool, darts, some video games.
Layed back, good food, great draft, friendly staff. What more do you need? We come and have the shrimp basket and the mushroom basket. So delicious. Don't expect crazy. All about relaxing.
Kind of a little dive, but not a bad place... definitely out of the way. They have like 4 10' tables and 6 8' tables, all quarter pay. They had a poker tournament going on and a decent sized bar. I would go back.
