Very flavorful food! We got the beef tartare, tofu, deviled eggs, chocolate crème brûlée. All the dishes were delicious. The decor is chic. The deviled eggs were the best I’d ever had. We especially enjoyed the nuanced flavor of the crème brûlée 😋

Visited Second Glass a couple weeks back for a evening dinner. Called in for reservations and we were accommodated easily even with our schedule change and having to move the reservation for the next day. Located in the quaint, stylish and beautifully done South Front District, Second Glass did not disappoint. Upon entering we were greeted by our Server Justin and later found out the owner Celeste. They were warm, welcoming and seated us immediately. The interior of this space is quite impressive, a see through wine cellar on the right as you enter, an extensive bar and plenty of seating throughout. One of the specials for the evening were orange wine flights. Something we had not experienced to date. They were tasty and unexpected, look forward to diving further into them at some point. To be expected their wine list is extensive but not intimidating and most of their offerings are paired with a recommended wine to enhance the experience. The chicken pate and trout deviled eggs were delightful. The catch used in the deviled eggs tasted fresh and was a wonderful twist on a classic appetizer. We then ordered by recommendation the Pork Shank, with Collards and New York Strip. The pork shank was flavorful and only enhanced with the side of collards that were reminiscent of a hearty and wholesome Sunday Dinner. The steak was cooked medium and was equally flavorful, the mac and cheese that we paired with it was an absolute sleeper for this dish. If you have a chance order their Mac and cheese. The wines that were paired with these dishes elevated the experience. It also provided a glimpse into the preparation the chef and their team take into making every dish a memorable one. All in all this a wonderful space for a casual brunch (which we went to the next day lol) or an evening out. Highly recommend visiting Second Glass and we look forward to returning soon.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is perfect. We chose to get dessert and red wine. The wine list has depth and high quality. The Chocolate Crème Brûlée is divine!

Anyone who understands hospitality and food quality would easily without hesitation agree that this is one of the best restaurants in Wilmington. I dined the other evening and was positively overwhelmed by the food on the new menu. Their options cater to every individual including an outstanding vegan selection! The cashew cheese! The wine selection is carefully selected and the owner Celeste is happy to point you in the right direction when it comes to pairing. Hands down a must go spot.

Loved the decor of this chic restaurant! We started with the wine in a beautiful glass accompanied by rich She-crab soup and flavorful ceviche!! The sea bass presentation was sophisticated while being cooked perfectly! The burger was a meld of many flavors with “can’t eat just one” sweet potato home fries. The final star was the crème-brulee with hints of ginger & lemon!!!!

Sunday brunch was fantastic. I had the French Toast with fresh squeezed OJ and my husband had the omelet de jour with a cranberry & vanilla mimosa. We also had a pot of French press coffee with fresh cream and raw sugar. Everything was so good. Definitely recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite places in wilmington! The wine list is extensive and the flights are always exciting and adventurous. The food is really the highlight. If nothing else grab the burger with the pimento cheese or the perfectly cooked scallops. If they have the espresso chest pie, start your diet next week and indulge. Last but not least is the service, they make you feel like your a good friend that dropped by for a bite to eat.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Wilmington. The food is always delicious! My favorite is the brunch menu. The cheddar grits, omelet and Benedict dejur, fried chicken biscuit, and the French toast! All of it has been amazing.

This place knows wine. Service however could use some tightening up. Front reception was curt after asking to sit near a fan - mind you this was for outdoor seating. All leftover cheese the waiter too to bag up from my cheeseboard was missing from my takeaway bag. Pimento cheese was delicious as usual. Nothing bad enough that I wouldn’t return but also know there are other options when considering.

This place was absolutely AMAZING! Tried it last night for my best friends 21st birthday dinner and it was beyond expectations. My sweet potato gnocchi was delicious and the cocktails were insane! The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, I loved her energy. The servers and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable! Even the customers were amazing, we met a group of ladies beside us that joined us out for a night on the town. I loved everything about this place! I wish I could give it a MILLION stars! 100000/10 recommended
