Loved it! Their food is delicious! I highly recommend their lobster spring rolls, the NC grouper, blackened Mahi Mahi and grilled fillet.
Went here with a friend and had an amazing 5 courses that we split. Great quality and diversity if food in a tapas restaurant.
Quite Enjoyable. Decided to try Cameo 1900 as part of restaurant week. The ambiance is wonderful, loved the decor. We were greeted promptly and sat -we had made a reservation. Our server was knowledgeable and helped explain a few of the items and the restaurant week menu. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and shared three tapas - the hummus trio, lobster spring rolls and welsh rarebit. All were very delicious and well prepared. We also shared the chocolate torte which was a very small portion. All in all, the food and service were great and I would certainly come back to try other items.
Excellent!. With wonderful, attentive service and a great selection of fabulous tapas and small plates, Cameo fills the spot for an enjoyable evening out. Nice wine selections -reasonably priced. Fun place for drinks or dinner.
Great tapas style food. The outdoor terrace is very dog friendly. We went twice, once on a Friday night around 10:30pm, and the bar was pumping, with lots of people, but we still managed to find 2 seats. Our wine selection seemed to have run out, but everything else was great. The following day we went for snacks at 6pm with our puppy, and had excellent service and great drinks. Worth a try.
This is a hip and fun Tapas lounge. The menu selection is wide enough that even kids can be kept happy. I highly recommend this place, located just before the bridge to Wrightsville Beach, in Lumina Station.
Girls Night Out!. I love this restaurant, I particularly love the crab cake and the hibiscus blueberry martini. Everything about this place is perfect, great atmosphere, great food, great drinks, great service!
Fantastic! Normally when you think tapas, you think small portions, and not all that filling. This was not the case with Cameo. The food is absolutely wonderful, with good size portions per plate. Trot drink were great as well; they seem to have very talented mixologists. I can't wait to come back!
Very trendy and Great food!. This place has a very cosmopolitan atmosphere and a eclectic tapas menu. We arrived into the place on a Thursday night, with a live band playing jazz at the entrance. The seating is very loungy in the front half, but the back half has traditional tables. They have a good selection of wines and a unique cocktail menu too. We tried the cucumber gimlet, which was Great.
Chic and Sexy. We finally tried Cameo 1900 on Saturday night...we arrived at 7:00 PM to a pretty quiet place; only a couple of tables with people. We were seated in the back; I think next time, I would prefer more towards the middle or the bar. The decor is all dark wood, red and black, with a few bits of white. It is really chic and sexy and looks best when the sun goes down.
I won't go into everything that we ordered; it is a place for small plates, so all together we had 6. I will say that service was very efficient (sometimes too quick,) the food came out very within a few minutes each time we ordered (3 times) and it was good. There were no real misses, but I think the strength of the chef/kitchen is in more of the comfort food (mac and cheese, etc.) although the lobster spring rolls were very tasty.
If you are looking for a place to have a sit down dinner, Cameo 1900 will not be for you, but if you kind of like to graze, share your food, and enjoy some adult beverages, it is perfect.
I was recommended to come here by a local and I see why. They have some very nice dishes here. The bartenders are very friendly they have some wonderful drink selections. During the day it is a well Oregon regular hometown bar however at night it turns into a club. They had a good music selection it is an older crowd 30s and 40s. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place like I just described. Thank you treating me well here. I will be back.
The bartender was absolutely fabulous, my sweetlove and I went out for our anniversary deciding to try something new. 1900 is now our go to place. The menu is a mix of small plate and entrees. The bar is full of quality top shelf liquor and that bartender, Jimmy is knowledgeable about what he has on the shelf. The service was great, drinks perfectly prepared and the food out of this world. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We love 1900.
Always enjoy this place for a variety of great, flavorful, tapas style dishes and some wonderful larger plates too. Even the dessert was fantastic. Excellent cocktails served by Jimmy and Alyssa at the bar who gave attentive, friendly service and helpful suggestions. Even the music was quite good. Incredible Keylime pie.
Such a great experience! My husband and I visited for dessert and after dinner drinks. The creme brulee and cheesecake were both amazing! Almost as amazing as our bartender Jimmy! He was truly exceptional, a great conversationalist that crafted perfect, personalized cocktails. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted, just gave him a few points of reference, and he nailed it. Everything was SO GOOD, thanks again Jimmy for a great night! We will absolutely return.
Went in for a company dinner for 25 of us on a Wednesday night. The drinks and food were amazing, but the service and timing from the kitchen was second to none. Probably the best filet I’ve ever had and was half the price of an upscale steakhouse. My only complaint is that I am from out of town and they don’t have a location back home...
We recently had my husband's 50th birthday party at 1900 and it was perfect! The atmosphere is gorgeous and the food was outstanding, especially the filet mignon, lamb and okra. And their drinks are on point! I really appreciate that their staff was so helpful and accommodating with our all of our decorations, various drink orders and multiple checks for 18 people, and they really went above and beyond to make sure it was a great party. Highly recommend!
Quaint, comfortable interior. We went on a Tuesday night & the place was absolutely dead, but the bartender made us comfortable & gave us just the right amount of attention. Fair warning: he did tell us they get slammed from Thursday on. Good cocktail selection, reasonable prices.
Table for 6 - was very impressed. Not only the staff, but the chef (Jeffrey) was just amazing. Duck Breast, Calamari, Diver Scallops, Yellow Tuna, Firecracker Oysters - all were simply awesome. We had special restrictions for one person, the chef came out, interviewed her needs and created a "chef's plate" that blew her away! Can't say I've ever had such a great experience in Wilmington. Must go to place!

Love this restaurant. 1900 has a relaxed atmosphere and the most comfortable seats. The food has always been the best. I love the filet mignon. Very tender and never disappoints. You must try the flan. It's the best compared to what I've had in Spain. The chocolate truffle cake is amazing too. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town.
Really good place and a great atmosphere they have a DJ come later In the night. The sliders were great, the Mac and cheese was fantastic. The calamari wasn't that good tho.
