You must come here, no trip to the beach is complete without a sando from A Taste of Italy. My go to is the Italian combo, and ending I've had fun here had been amazing. I love the bodega, their selection is fantastic and high quality. Staff were incredible
Good food and a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful in all your needs. I highly recommend this place. Also get the spaghetti and meatballs. You will be so full!!!!

Taste of Italy is awesome. I love their lunch and breakfast sandwiches, the bread and other ingredients are so fresh, and the size is very generous. The owner and staff are very welcoming and professional. A favorite place to stop when we head down to the beach!
Been a long time since the meat was stacked on a sandwich like this. The bread was killer and got hot spread, excellent 👌! They also had Herr's chips! Crazy grocery selection, everyone's food looked tasty, esp the hot items. Don't sleep on this one, wish I lived closer.

I’m visiting from Southern New Jersey where hoagies are a staple. The meats were spot on really good. Roll was good provolone cheese could’ve had a better bit but all in all a real good Hoagie. Everything I’ve had there has been excellent. Highly recommend this Italian Deli

Everything here was delicious! We came twice within our stay in Wilmington because of how scrumptious the food is. I got the eggplant Parmesan and chicken Parmesan and boy were they delicious. I highly suggest getting a cannoli or tiramisu to finish off your meal. 10/10 would recommend!
My mom and I got turkey wedge and salami with provolone wedge, and they were out-of-this-world delicious!! We also got potato salad and that was also excellent!! If I was getting married I let them cater my wedding!
Best sandwiches in town. I've had a simple tuna on rye, the Italian combo wedge, and a meatball wedge. I can't wait to work my way across the rest of the menu. The store is clean and fresh smelling and the staff is pleasant. I really couldn't rate a place any higher!
I had the eggplant parmesan and it was made the way I make it it was tall like a lasagna it was excellent. I'll look forward to eating there again.
Absolutely the best Eggplant Parmigiano around! Many thinly sliced layers, at least three inches thick, cooked to perfection, and nice and cheesy, the way it should be.
