This is my second time coming here. I’m not a big pastrami fan maybe because I haven’t had good pastrami until now, for some reason I was craving it. And wow do they make good pastrami. It was perfect with the soft wedge bread. I specially liked that it was not salty. And the chocolate mousse was chocolaty and not sweet at all, I ate the whole thing 🙃😌
You must come here, no trip to the beach is complete without a sando from A Taste of Italy. My go to is the Italian combo, and ending I've had fun here had been amazing. I love the bodega, their selection is fantastic and high quality. Staff were incredible
Good food and a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful in all your needs. I highly recommend this place. Also get the spaghetti and meatballs. You will be so full!!!!

Taste of Italy is awesome. I love their lunch and breakfast sandwiches, the bread and other ingredients are so fresh, and the size is very generous. The owner and staff are very welcoming and professional. A favorite place to stop when we head down to the beach!
Been a long time since the meat was stacked on a sandwich like this. The bread was killer and got hot spread, excellent 👌! They also had Herr's chips! Crazy grocery selection, everyone's food looked tasty, esp the hot items. Don't sleep on this one, wish I lived closer.
Taste of Italy delivered roasted potatoes and chicken Marsala for my family reunion. Everyone said how good the food was. We will definitely use you again. Your delivery drivers were also very courteous. Thank you for making today a great day for my family.
I’m visiting from Southern New Jersey where hoagies are a staple. The meats were spot on really good. Roll was good provolone cheese could’ve had a better bit but all in all a real good Hoagie. Everything I’ve had there has been excellent. Highly recommend this Italian Deli
Delicious meatballs, large, meaty and mild with the right amount of breadcrumbs…tastes like nonna’s at the St Rocco’s Feast on Glen Cove, Long Island. We ordered 6 with the pint of classic marinara sauce so we can have leftovers. I haven’t been here since 2018 and it looks like the store has a lot more selections, take-home groceries like frozen lobster ravioli, and upgraded staff. I can’t wait to order the subs and the eggplant parm next time, now that we are yet another group of New Yorkers living here. As I searched the house for some limoncello aperitif, there was only 1/2 a tiramisu left when I opened my fridge! hubby said it was delicious, light mascarpone, and yummy. For a small Italian sub shop and deli in bland Wilmington, NC, this place is very, very, welcoming. We will be back and the New York relatives visiting in July will be joining me.
Great local Italian deli and restaurant. Plenty of tasty food to choose from. Nice selection of products from Italy as well.
My sisters and I got everything we needed to make our mother's lasagna and it was fabulous. Great memories eating this growing up. I should've gotten another jar of sauce just for me.
