We ended up here just by chance but we had a great experience dining in. All the food we sampled was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. I will return.

I ordered food for take-out. The bartender was the one taking orders and when he turned to me, he said "Patricia, right?" Wow! I was very impressed. I haven't been there in several months. But, I do like this guy because he gets my order right every. single. time.
Plus, there was no one dining in. Several of us were picking up our to-go orders, though.
Plus, the food was tasty!

I almost never write a bad review for a restaurant but steer clear of this place - it is horrible. The first sign of trouble was there were only 2 other tables seated in their enormous dining room. The second sign is a near empty restaurant with a gigantic menu that was completely unfocused. Maybe it is only my family but I would never order sushi from an empty restaurant - scary. There was only one woman working the front of the house and she literally was sprinting between tables. I will let the restaurant get a pass on this one because with covid staffing has been an issue. My advice to her is stop running - it does not make you more efficient. It stresses customers and does not create a calm enjoyable dining environment. We ordered salt and pepper shrimp, tried to order one of the many duck dishes but they were out so we got a horrible fried chicken nugget dish that was inedible and very mediocre dry cooked green beans. Salt and pepper is one of my favorite cooking techniques in Chinese cuisine. Shrimp is very lightly floured and flash fried with the head and shell on - almost like a tempura. Then it is tossed with sauteed onions, scallion, peppers, hot peppers, ginger, and , you guessed it salt and pepper. You are suppose to eat the whole shrimp, shell and all mixed with the little salty spicy bits. Asian Bistro's version literally came out of the kitchen completely burned - like black, over breaded, burned grease all over the plate, and the black side of the shrimps all facing down like we would not notice. IT was horrible. When we told the waitress that it was burnt and terrible she would not refund us and this is why they are getting only one star. There is NO way the cook did not realize he burned the food as he carefully flipped all the shrimp thinking we would not notice. How can you trust a restaurant with ethics like this. The fried chicken dish was equally terrible. You know you are in trouble when the batter on something fried is 3 times bigger than the actual thing they were frying. This was literally the crappiest meal I have eaten in Vermont. There are many many better choices of Asian food in the area. STEER CLEAR!

Fantastic! Absolutely delicious chicken fried rice, California roll, and eel and avocado roll. Perfect size portions for a reasonable price. Lovely waitress, great service. Attractive, comfortable dining area. Will definitely be back!

My 1st time at Asian Bistro and I must say, the food was good. The server/waitress had a friendly and pleasant attitude. She ckeck in on me periodically!. I thought the prices were very fair. I gave 4/5 stars because the check book was dirty "had food stains." And i wasn't offered water. Otherwise i will definitely return and recommend.

This place is garbage. Came in it was empty. We were only customers. Food took over 30 minutes which I understand it takes awhile to cook food. Only it came out cold. Broccoli and beef was cold. Sweet and sour sauce was so cold it must have just been taken out of a fridge. Then my partners general tso tofu only had about half of the tofu cooked. Like half the prices still were paste inside. So we asked and the hostess said that's how tofu is supposed to be. It's not. Unwilling to fix anything we asked for check and left. About 45 minutes later we were still in the area the hostess tracked us down and said we didn't tip. I explained why like as if it was even a question. She implied it's because we must be from Canada. We're from Florida. We're good service industry is great. Avoid this place.
