Apprehensive at first due to mixed reviews online and from colleagues. Was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent overall. Execution was great, seasoning was almost there (steaks and fish needed more salt) but the veggies were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The mushrooms had some sweetness
Some of the best tomahawk chops I've ever had. A unique spin on a steakhouse. Fun atmosphere especially when it's sometimes birthday. The bartender is knowledgeable of cocktails and easy to converse with.
Went for first time Sept 2018. Amazing place. Delicious food. Nice decor and ambiance. Valet parking option. We got the Long Bone Ribeye for 2, Steamed Spinach and Giant Loaded Baked Potato. STEAK was INSANELY DELICIOUS. Dana was an absolute pleasure!!! Made my husband's birthday extra special. Drin
The hostess was a little bland, but the bartender was really friendly. We are ate the bar. I got the petite filet mignon cooked to a perfect medium with a baked potato. The husband got the prime steak blend burger but it was a bit over the medium well. He liked it even still. We got great cocktail
Great steaks. Great service. A winner! Hosts are meticulous about service. Wait staff is great. Drinks are perfect. I can't say enough. Never disappoints.
Cozy place, delicious food, great dishes, exceptional service, very good stuff. A great experience and a place to come back.
Food was amazing! Located in a beautiful small town area, the decor and atmosphere was a combination of small town meets big city restaurant that was perfect for the area and cuisine. Service was friendly and the hostess Alyssa was amazing! The place was packed but she made us feel welcomed and foun
The lamb was perfectly tender and the steak was massive. The burger was also tasty and the bacon appetizer is a crowd-pleaser. Fantastic meal, good for special occasions, and the butcher block adds a nice touch to the ambience. Restaurant is clean and service is friendly, but the menu is a little p
Excellent burger, fries and service. Easily one of the best that I've had on Long Island.
The food is FANTASTIC and the drinks are amazing! The owner is so sweet and came over and introduced himself. We had an absolutely fabulous time and my husband and I consider ourselves huge foodies... Felt like we were on vacation with the tequila mojitos and steak cooked to PERFECTION!
This place was great! Started off with the BBG special cocktail which was very good. Shared the porterhouse for 2 with 2 sides of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly! No complaints about service, but if you go make sure you bring extra $$. Everything is extra and is qu
I've been here a few times already, and each time I leave happier. It's like a very trendy restaurant you'd find in NYC, except in LI. They recently broadened their drink menu, and it's phenomenal, but do realize each drink is $16 each, very NYC. I had their 48 day aged rib eye for 2, it was amazing
This was the first time we have been to bbg and was an amazing meal. We had a great few apps with the bacon and the calamari. No one at the table had a traditional steak. 3 of us had the burgers which were perfect and my wife had the filet risotto which was fantastic. Our only knock on the place was
This was my 3rd visit to BBG. It was a fantastic dinner for 3! The Filets were done to perfection, medium rare with a char that crumbled into flavor bursts in your mouth, just the best filet I've had in 50 years! The grilled asparagus to die for, the creamed spinach and Large baked potato done to
Food was great! Drinks were mediocre!
