Uncle Bob's Bbq

This place has an amazing view and exceptional service. I can not lie though, the food left a bit to be desired. Otherwise it would be a 5 star across the board. It has a very scenic setting with a light house out front like you are on a far off coast line. And the people and service are down home friendly. I'll try the food again and all in all it gets 4 stars.

Good BBQ. Ribs were perfectly done and the brisket was fall-apart tender. Large portions are served for the sides. The sweet potato fries were excellent. Staff was courteous and food was pepared quickly. From the dining area, there is a good view of the marina and the lake. Many people coming and going on a Saturday afternoon, but parking was not difficult and service was not an issue. The only draw back in my opinion: the bathrooms are not accessible from the restaurant area, you must leave the dining area and go into the convince store for wash facilities. Otherwise, great experience.

Family boating on Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend stopped for late lunch. $80. Three of us got our food and almost finished before other three got theirs. No apologies for that. Two got meat stuffed potato that I think are $9.99, tasty but one had very little meat. Two had hamburgers and they were good, nothing special. One had sliced beef sandwich. The bbq is really good but this time the sandwich had very little meat compared to previous time we had bragged about. Hamburgers last to come out and then had to flag her down for condiments. Brought one tiny packet of mayo and mustard for two burgers. It was only us and one other table. Took 30 minutes for first three of us to get food. Not a good experience for $80. Disappointed because it is close by on our side of lake. We will go again because bbq is good, but service needs improvement.
