Really good sandwiches, generously filled. They offer a long shelf of hot sauces from which to choose, rated from 1 to 10, in terms of "heat"--we tried just a handful of them this time, but will sample others next visit. There is also a fun firefighter theme, with free pretend helmets for kids.

I have visited this particular Firehouse Subs location in Williamsburg, VA several times now and have never been disappointed. I've always been promptly greeted upon entering the restaurant and waited on by pleasant, friendly staff. If you're look'n for a delicious, well made sub and you're in the Williamsburg area, you can't go wrong stopping in here. While I really enjoy their Italian Sub "fully involved", they have several delicious subs to choose from. You won't leave disappointed or hungry!!! Highly recommended!

My service experience was less than pleasant. I was the only customer at 11:00. There was one young lady behind the counter and a gentleman who may have been the manager. (He did wear a company shirt.) as I had not been in a Firehouse recently, I noticed that they did not have a pastrami listed and inquired of it’s availability. The man very abruptly said they always have had pastrami and if i wanted one I could order a single meat. He did not listen to my questions. And talked down to me with smart *** answers. I am 61 years old. I felt very disrespected. If I had not been in somewhat of a hurry, I would have left without food. When the girl brought the sandwich over, she apologized for the man’s behavior. This man definitely shouldn’t be working in customer service. I won’t be going there again.

Firstly, understaffed for the number of people dining in. I understand that things happen and people call out, but just don't be surprised if you wait a long period of time to get your food. We waited 35 minutes for ours, absolutely no hustle seen from the three employees.
I got the turkey bacon ranch, asked for a medium and got charged for a large. Sub eventually came out and it was practically inedible. It was swimming in dressing and everything fell out when I picked it up.
Unlikely we will return.

I am extremely disappointed. The sandwiches were good. I placed an order based off of the prices on their menu online only to learn the prices were $2.50 more after arriving at the store. The person who placed the order was aware I was looking at the menu online ad never bothered to inorm me of the price difference. I spoke to a manager and he was aware of this assured me he was trying to get someone to fix it but wouldn't honor the rate. This is misleading not to mention false advertising. I will place my orders for subs elsewhere.

Good food. Ok service. Place was dirty. Lady fixing our sandwiches started messing with her hair and then went to fixing our sandwiches without washing her hands. If your hair keeps getting in the way, you should invest in a hair net.

I went there for lunch today and the meat was cold. The reason I love this place is because they steam the meat. It was not steamed at all... I'm 3 months pregnant and shouldn't eat cold deli meat that's why I come to firehouse opposed to others. I love this place but I was not pleased with lunch today.

Most delicious sub sandwiches I've ever had! And even better, it was started by real firefighters.
The restaurant itself was very clean and inviting. The staff was notably friendly.
