The Smokey Griddle

my review is that "it was breakfast". generic American breakfast recipes. service was average speed for what we ordered, waitress was perfectly attentive. location is a bit cramped. food too sweet, mom couldn't finish her food. nothing smoky about the flavors. aesthetic wasnt far off of a truck stop diner. Like a Denny's experience. cracker barrel is better for the same money. i liked that there were plenty of sweeteners, hot sauces, coffee creamers/half n half at the table.

Good breakfast spot! There are a ton of breakfast options that sit along the path I and out of Williamsburg. Each has something special that makes it worth a stop. The Smokey Griddle is a good, authentic diner. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the food was good and very fairly priced. I ordered sausage gravy, and my wife ordered the French toast with fruit. Both tasted very good! I'd definitely stop here again

Great breakfast eatery that I took my family to. We were looking for a brunch to enjoy before heading out to the historic sites nearby and found Smokey Griddle! The service we was friendly and quick! The food came out pretty quick as well! The Steak and Eggs we ordered was delicious along with the Country Fried Steak and Eggs! The pancakes and waffles were amazing as well! The only dish that we did not enjoy as much was the Fried Chicken and Waffles, but other than that we would 100% come and enjoy the other items on the menu!

I like to hit pancake houses as I travel around the country. This place has the best pancakes I've ever had. They are light and not greasy. Many pancakes are cooked on a very oily griddle which makes them fry around the edges. Cracker Barrel is bad about it. Smokey gets it just right. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Staff was very friendly.
