Amiraj lived up to its expectations on following. 1. It claimed to be modern and it's true. The interior decor a far more superior compared to a typical Indian restaurants and upon enquiring witht staff it has been renovated recently during covid closure. 2. Beautiful set of Chinaware, dinnerware sets they use to serve. 3. Delicious food and Ofcourse Friendly staff. We ordered Mugalai Shrimp, Bread basket, Panner curry, Malai kabab and side of rice and onions. Finished off with Indian style coffee and Indian Chai. My most favorite of the list was Mugalai Shrimp. The bread was very soft and paired really well with Mugalai shrimp Curry. Great gesture by chef walking to table to get things clarified about order. I like chefs do this when they are in doubt instead of assuming and preparing the meal. Overall, I do recommend this restaurant when you are in town.(willamsburg, VA).

We were visiting williamsburg and wanted to have a quick Indian dinner - for kids . Chose amiraj looking at google review stars ⭐️.. Placed order in phone and picked it up. Order was ready in 20-25 mins . Ordered some naans, paneer gravy and paneer starter. It looked an upscale restaurant while picking it up. They had a bar inside and lots of seating (inside and outside). Food was ok. I expected more especially looking at 4.5 reviews. Paneer wasn’t spicy and naan was ok. Worst thing is the price .. it was about 60$ for such a small order . Coming from Edison NJ it’s a shock for us . Taste didn’t justify the money . Kids didn’t eat much .. overall a very expensive and average restaurant. Good luck owners .. 👍👍

Super delicious food and beautiful plating. I can tell that the dishes were freshly made, the salmon I ordered was perfectly cooked. Their dessert with the candied carrots was omg soo good. I'm not sure what it's called. Service was great. We had many questions about the dishes and their servers were able to describe them all. The seating area is spacious and clean. I've been there twice and will definitely go back again!

This has got to be one of the best spots in the area. The food was just incredible, it stands out from other Indian spots for sure. The staff AMAZING so attentive, so sweet they brought out a birthday cake for my husband as surprise. We’re from northern VA and we would drive down just to be there again. Thank you guys so much!

Hands down our new favorite restaurant and well worth the drive from Virginia Beach. Craft cocktails, an inspired menu served with fresh homemade naan out of the tandoor and an award winning Wine Spectator wine list all served in a beautiful atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

YES! We stopped by on Thursday afternoon.. our host and waiter were very kind and helpful, answering your questions and making informed suggestions. While I ordered the delicious goat curry, my partner got tikka masala chicken and also tried roasted chicken and vegetables. Delicious naan bread, the tomato coconut soup was bursting with flavor. We also got a mango lassi that was served in a thick tall glass, and the chai tea was thick with flavor and super delicious as well. The portions are perfect and plentiful, we took half of our food to go and it reheats well. My sincerest compliments to the chef and staff. Beautifully decorated interior and great service and Indian food. Will absolutely come again when we find ourselves in Williamsburg!

Great modern Indian food. Lots of veggies and spice upon request. It’s the first Indian place where we didn’t have to ask for more rice. They also have craft beer.

Excellent food, really good atmosphere. Wait staff asks how spicy between 1 to 5. If you like hot food, don't be afraid of 5. Did a 4 and it was really good. A 1 is nice and sweet. Highly recommend this place!!!
