Cafe Provencal

Husband and I visited about 4 months ago and loved it! The atmosphere was wonderful and the food is untouchable. Service was also outstanding. We ordered a bottle of wine that was not ready so they gave us a glass of champagne on the house! We had the fried oyster appetizer and it was delicious. I got the steak (rare) and it was cooked to perfection. It is rare that my husband goes to a nice restaurant and does not order steak, but he decided to go with a fish dish that was served in a broth (forgive me for not remembering more detail, it was awhile ago). It's even more rare that my husband decides not to order a steak and DOESN'T regret it - but he was obsessed with this dish. It's a but pricey, but we knew that going in. Will visit again.

We went here for our anniversary and the staff and food was in par. It's pricey but worth every bite. It's on the property of the Williamsburg Winery and you can actually do a wine tour and eat at this restaurant as a package deal. I had a great time and the food was extremely fancy from the starter to the dessert. Definitely a perfect spot for a date.

My experience having dinner here was otherworldly good. We were treated beautifully and I felt so cared for. Since this was a special event for me, this is not my usual style of dining, I decided to try the spring lamb chops. I had never experienced them before. Tremendous. We enjoyed the wine that was suggested and the dessert was extraordinary.

Amazing cuisine and service! We stayed at Wedmore Place for a few days and dined at Cafe Provencal and the tavern for every meal. Both were so awesome we didn't even think about dining anywhere else. The service is personable and professional without being stuffy. The staff was attentive and seemed to always anticipate our needs and desires. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
