Straw Hat Pizza

I read a lot of reviews about this place and decided to check it out for my self since I live in the area.The reviews are correct. The pizza is terrible. Too much cheese and the toppings were old. The tables were sticky. The girl working was clueless. I ordered a draft beer and it was flat. I asked for a bottle beer instead and the girl was very confused and had to ask the manager. That took 5 minutes. I don't mind that it was 39.00 for a medium pizza and 3 beers but I do mind that I was still hungry because I couldn't eat the food.

I Phoned in order at 11:30 and they said 15 mins. I arrived 10 mins later and waited it was 22 mins later and they were just preparing the food for the oven. I seen when I paid and didn't tip they talked and then that's when they didn't want to do there job I felt its because I didn't tip. That's not exceptable. It was not so busy that they didn't have enough time to prepare or cook the food. I am a local and was disappointed in their service. If you don't tip they don't want to do their job thats what it look like to me. I hope they get some people to do their job in a timely professional manner.

The salad bar was the reason we went. It was closed so they made it in the back. It was iceberg lettuce. Not my personal favorite. But it was fresh. Cauliflower crust was advertised. They were out. The gluten free crust was pretty good. A bit greasy. The chicken sandwich was really good. The bread was really good ciabatta style. The fries were large wedge fries. They were good also. The ladies restroom was out of order.

Called to place an order, was put on hold for 5 minutes, thought i was hung up on. Told pizza would be ready in 20 minutes got their and waited 20 more minutes only to be told the pizza was done just sitting there cold. No apology just rude, unprofessional behavior, will not be going here again. Customer service stinks.

My experience was terrible, my phone in order was incorrect, and my sandwich had almost no meat on it, and it didn't taste that good. Probably because it was all bread and not much of anything else. I frequent this straw hat often, and it is just getting bad. I give them no stars, for the same money you can go to one of the other local places, and get a much better sandwich. Please see the pic below. When I did see any meat, I opened the sandwich to find there wasn't much. I did contact the franchise, and have not heard from the owner. The franchise did apologize.
