Uncle Dudley's Restaurant

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is well worth a stop. Cash or check only and the locals will stare at any strangers for a while, but the prices are dirt cheap, the coffee is amazing and the food is very good. My wife got the sausage egg and cheese muffin sandwich and I got the biscuits and gravy, egg over easy and toast. The portions are huge (get the half order of the biscuits and gravy unless you're starving). Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and managed the entire room all on her own.

A very low key place that was very busy when we went. I had the omelet which I thought was excellent. My wife just had a house salad which she was not enthused with. The service was excellent and the waitress was helpful, friendly, and funny. I think I could give it cautionary thumbs up. Maybe check other reviews for the other dishes served to get a fair rating of what they have.
