We went to the Wharf to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday. While her jersey family had been there a million times, I had not.
Saturday afternoon, beautiful day out, we got a table on the deck and I headed straight to the bar. As soon as I walked up the bartender shook my hand, asked my name and said “Ian, what are you drinking.” First impression A+. The frozen margarita I got was great. Later on we ordered some appetizers and they too were A+. The Bay Fries are amazing and the Philly egg rolls are the very best that I have had. Our table also ordered the fish tacos which looked amazing and I was told they were great.
On top of the great food and great service the band playing was great too. Good tunes, people having fun and dancing. Everyone was so nice and just having a great summer day. I would definitely recommend hanging at the wharf.
We sat inside for a weekday dinner. There was a band playing at the outside bar and dining area, which was nice and wasn't too loud. We had a group of six and everyone seemed to enjoy their appetizers and meals. Overall a good dining experience at the beach. Next time I might try the outdoor area for a more fun and casual time.
