Review One Fish, Two Fish Restaurant - Wildwood

Amazing experience! Just a few blocks away from the boardwalk. It’s a must visit restaurant. Atmosphere was very intimate and welcoming. Staff was courteous and attentive. As for the food, each plate was a work of art and incredibly delicious. A small menu allowed each plate to have so much detail. Seafood chowder was above and beyond any other I’ve ever eaten. The braised short rib was insanely tender. The salmon was bursting with flavor as it came with a very creamy Thai curry sauce. I hope people that dine here value and appreciate good food as much as Chef Ryan does. First time but certainly won’t be the last!

We were so fortunate to come across this culinary gem on in an understated location. Try the mussels--even if you aren't a mussel person. They have a new twist and are worth the trip alone. The flavors and beautifully combined textures of every selection are amazing! I can't wait to come back! And to add, the service is like nowhere else. It's starts with the gracious chef/owner all the way down to wait staff like Christina! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

An Absolute Fantastic Experience! A Casual dining affair with a wonderfully friendly and accommodating wait staff that doesn't prepare you for just how truly Devine the food is. Everything we ordered was a culinary delight from the calamari to the chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse but, the true star if the show was the Halibut... Just perfect... We will be back!

Found this small little place while looking for somewhere to eat. Was pleasantly surprised. It’s a small restaurant with only around 12 tables or so. For my appetizer I had the special soup, tomato bisque with crab. It was creamy and the crab added a nice touch. For dinner I had the scallops over risotto which was very good. Scallops were tender and juicy and the risotto was tender and creamy. The only downside was my brother got the crab cakes and found a few shells inside of it. Besides that it was overall a good dining experience. Looks like they change the specials too so I would recommend to drop by and try.

Wait staff was very pleasant. I'm still not sure how I felt about the pork belly, the rhubarb puree made the dish. The muscles were delicious. Pulled pork with pickled onions was a very nice appetizer.

Incredible food! The seafood chowder was one of the finest I’ve ever tasted; just the right amount, artfully presented. I love soup but usually never finish; this I drained to the last drop. Because the chowder was so satisfying, I ordered the shrimp and grits appetizer as my main; PERFECT! The best I’ve had outside of Savannah or Charleston. The service was friendly and attentive. One Fish, Two Fish deservedly earned the write ups in the Star Ledger and NJ Monthly. Kudos!!

I don't usually comment past a star ranking but this place deserves it. Every single appetizer and entree was amazing... they had a a special for a lobster risotto that literally had more lobster than risotto... there aren't many places that do portions like this with a presentation that rivals most places in the city. The hidden gem of wildwood.

Superb food they deserve another star! Food is Cooked to the perfection, mussels have excellent new spicy taste, tuna with a hint of orange taste, scallops are so tasty. We emptied our plates to the last drop of sauce. Very good restaurant I recommend making a reservation as it is a smaller venue.

Small menu but excellent food. Joey was an excellent server. Dinner tonight was catch of the day specials: swordfish and halibut

First time there since the location change. The food was absolutely delicious. Mussels in Tabasco tequila sauce are still the tastiest sauce I have ever had. Had the lamb special and it did not disappoint. Sorry it took so long to get back, but will definately be in more often!!! Bonus is that they sell Hawk Haven wines on site!

A great unexpected place. It was a last minute party for 13 people. The dishes are flavorful. We had the short ribs, pork chops, crab galette, salmon, the veal chops, the pork belly, mussels, and seafood gazpacho. All were great. Christina was wonderful. We applaud chef Ryan. Really great night.

The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because how long our entrees took. Our server was very efficient and attentive, so it seems that it's a kitchen management/staffing problem. The food itself was absolutely fantastic and creative. I had a crab galette with a light mustard sauce, and a whimsical campfire panacotta. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. Great date night experience and byob!

Wonderful experience. Ordered the salmon, it was the biggest portion i have ever had. Other than the incredible food, I can’t say enough about the staff. They are so kind and really made the experience amazing. It was my first time at one fish two fish in 30 years of traveling to wildwood and I will definitely be back anytime I’m in town. Thank you to the awesome hostess and manager for a great experience!

We had an amazing dinner, on my wife’s 50th Birthday, Saturday July 16th. Mary, our server, was exceptional. We even met Ryan, the owner/chef. Salmon was cooked perfectly. We had so much fun and look forward to coming back here again. Thanks!

Just FYI: As of July 2021, the current Pacific Ave Wildwood location of this restaurant is a *BYOB* with the option to purchase bottles of wine from Hawk Haven. This info was not listed on their website, open table, or google at the time we made reservations. (Would recommend making reservations ahead of time, it seems to get busy). Other than not having a full drink menu, our overall experience was still very good. Nice service, delicious seafood. We particularly loved the Salmon dish on the menu.

Excellent food, perhaps the best in Wildwood, everything was rich and perfectly seasoned and made by someone who knows what their doing. It gets four stars because the ambiance is weird. It’s like someone opened a restaurant in their dinning room, decorated it with IKEA furniture, but then hired a world renowned chef. Definitely worth it tho.

Small menu but really good food. Grilled salmon was very good, and the pan-seared scallops were excellent, as was the chowder. Special thanks go to Tiffany, our waitress. She was *really nice* and helpful and made our dining experience wonderful.
