My experience at Uries was decent. It was my first night and Wildwood and we agreed on this restaurant for dinner. Firstly the atmosphere was great the view of the water and the deck they have is very nice especially at sunset. I ordered the clams casino and it was very good. I also got the Maryland blue crabs the crab was decent. There is also an arcade and bar inside the restaurant. My only complaint is the service. It was a busy night so I understand servers are busy but I wish our server was a little more attentive.

Food was pretty good. The clams casino and fish taco appetizers were great! Prime rib was a little overcooked for our liking. Entrées were room temperature. My daughter devoured the crab legs. It was a bit difficult to get our waitress to refill our drinks, get us a to go box, etc but when she was available she was nice. Beautiful view also.

My wife & I were on vacation this week and we wanted a nice dinner over looking water. We discovered this place and was happy to see it was on the same corner as the iconic Wildwood sign! We had our picture taken and then walked right over into the restaurant. We were greeted by friendly staff and a friendly hostess. My wife wanted a table overlooking the water, and they cleared a spot just for us. Awesome! Then our waitress (Bridget) greeted us and took our drink order. We were all very happy to hear they offer Coke products. We LOVE Coke but for some reason everyone else in Wildwood pretty much only sells Pepsi products, which is ok, but not our preference at all in terms of soft drinks. Our salads came served on glass plates which was a nice through back to the 1980s. Some might mind this presentation, but personally I liked the nostalgia. My wife ordered the lobster tail, both my kids ordered chicken fingers and fries, and I ordered the tortellini Alfredo special. I asked for a piece of chicken parm on top, which I received. We all enjoyed our dinners, however I couldn’t help but feel disappointed in it. This restaurant is dropping the ball when it comes to the food quality. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted good and was cooked correctly, it’s just that it was obviously brought in sauces with frozen chicken. The food was presented well but had that “store bought” taste. This restaurant has friendly staff and a great view of the water, but frozen processed food. It’s like cooking a perfect filet mignon but serving it on a trash can lid. Such a shame in my opinion. I will mention that our waitress Bridget was incredible and should be the blue print for how every wait staff person performs. She was tuned in to special requests, stayed on top of our refills, and was fast on her feet. She and my wife shared some nice conversation also, which shows how personable she is. She helped us feel welcome, and honestly if it weren’t for her, I would have rated this place much lower. In closing, my advice to management is this: You have everything any restaurant would die to have, now start cooking some fresh food. Alfredo sauce is very easy to make. Marinara sauce is easy to make. Chicken parm is easy to prep and should never be frozen. You will get a major jolt in business if you start bringing out dishes packed with fresh flavor. Personally when I go out to eat, I expect something better than I could make at home.

My daughter, GS and I went here for lunch on the weekend of the kite festival. My daughter had a raspberry pina colada frozen cocktail which she loved. I had a diet soda as I was driving. We both ordered the chowder which I thought was delicious. She said it tasted very good but was disappointed that the clams were minced. (I personally prefer them minced). The base was creamy and flavorful. She ordered the crab cake platter and I ordered the sandwich. Hers didn’t have a bun which was the only difference. Both came with coleslaw and French Fries. My GS just shared what we were eating. We didn’t get dessert.

4.5/5 Main courses were delicious and menu offers a wide variety of seafood options. Atmosphere and service were top notch, highly recommend sitting on the deck. Crab balls appetizer were yum. Sides weren’t great but we loved everything else.

I had a great experience at Urie's. Our server was one of the best we had during our entire trip to Wildwood. My food was delicious, and reasonably priced. I also appreciated how clean the whole establishment appeared to be.

straight 5 I've been going to Uries since i was a kid and today's visit was the best Had the early bird special dinner Mahi with baked potato and green beans. loved the seasoning on the broiled Mahi, definity fresh, not bottled sauce, just enough and perfectly balanced. Not the best pic on my food but after the beach , hunger got priority. very good seafood entree selections but the menu wasn't overwhelming. desserts- key lime pie, choc pb pie, brulee cheesecake, double chocolate cake, very good options to end the meal and all very appealing. Attentive servers and bussers. Two large bars. very clean! Very nice video arcade to the front of the establishment. big buck hunter, fruit ninja, multiple skeet, spongebob. air hockey, etc Great job on upgrades since I've been going and unlike some other waterfront places, no sacrificing food taste or quality for scenery

Update 07/03/2023-last yesr they scaled back on early bird and it was NOT good. However this year, rhey were back to normal and the food was wonderful. We usually do early bird for the family to save a few bucks. Great meal with plenty left over to take home. The only thing that could have been better is the front end. When we went to check in the person spoke rudely to us and seemed annoyed when we asked questions about the timing for seating. Our server however made up for it and did a great job. There was live music and the deck is always a great spot to eat and enjoy the views Dining on the deck. Great value with early bird specials. Food has always been great. Pretty views of the Marino, live music sometimes. Staff is generally friendly.

Staff was very welcoming, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The arcade area for the children was a nice addition. The food was great, but we went a little late... and one of our meals was dry and undercooked. The lobster was dry tasting and kind of rubbery, while the baked potato was hard and undercooked.. Everything else was perfect. So, I really consider this only an issue because we were one of the last parties. I would definitely dine here again, and they were more than gracious & understanding about the meal.
