The food at this place is worthy of a five star restaurant! This place is tiny, simple, and very understated...but the food is delicious. I went with four others so I was able to sample several different items. The lobster roll was amazing...clean and fresh tasting. The crab cakes were mostly crab meat. The broiled seafood platter was perfection. The clam strips were thick and were clearly real fresh clams. The whole time we were there people were coming in for trays and trays of crab legs. You may want to get take out as seating is limited but either way it is worth it! Do not pass this gem up, there is so much more to it then meets the eye.
I read the reviews before coming here. After you get past the fact that you must use plasticware to eat your $30 meal, you will find that it is worth it. The food is awesome and the little dining room is fun!
Loved finding this place. Our family has been coming here for over 40 years and we've never been here. We will 100% be back next year. The clam chowder was so good. The steamed muscles were delicious. I love the small table vibes. It's cozy and homey. Not great for crowds bigger than 8.

No doubt about it. I’ve been to all the high. End restaurants and this joint’s food is cooked to perfection.. This is a throw back to old time america mom & pop style restaurant all fresh and cooked while you wait. No frozen stuff here. AMAZING FOOD AND GREAT ATMOSPHERE as well..
Cozy neighborhood seafood restaurant, mostly takeout due to a few tables available.
Dining in, nothing special with sports on TV, all food served in disposable ware.
Food seemed enjoyable by all, but pasta dishes seemed not fully cooked (still stuck together).
Prices seemed a bit higher, compared to say Schellenger, without finer dine in experience.
This is what I'd consider a "hidden gem" in Wildwood. Seven of us (four adults and three teenagers) made reservations to have dinner here. The service was amazing. Our waitress was so friendly, kind, sweet, and fun. A man whose name I believe was Job came over and showed my daughter how to get all of the meat out of the crabs she ordered. The food was outstanding! Hands down the best crab cakes I've ever had in my life. We will not only be returning in the future, but I'll be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know who visits Wildwood. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
The shack fries are 'dont say it on an airplane' 💣💣💣. The rolls are good. Flounder is very good. Broiled seafood combo is good. Fried shrimp and crab cake is good. Fried fresh seafood combo was good. Fish and scallops is good. Shrimp and scallops fried combo is good. All the food listed is AMAZING!!! The sauce flows freely and is an excellent addition to anything you order. The Hanks hot sauce is worth the $5. THE SERVICE IS AWESOME AJD THEN SOME!!!
Great atmosphere and food! The blue crabs were delicious as was the broiled seafood. It's a family run restaurant and it really shows in the excellent service that's provided. I would absolutely recommend anyone in the mood for seafood to stop by!
Went for fried sea scallops, something in short supply in VT. Hands down the absolute best scallops we've ever had. I can't see what others could complain about. Great service, great food. Yeah, they don't have fancy dinnerware, but I'll take quality food with quantity, even if it comes with plastic forks. Wish this place wasn't 6 hours away.
I decided to give this place a shot because I was really in the mood for crabs and it seemed that the atmosphere would be perfect for me. Sure enough I walked in sat down, the Phillies game was on I ordered a half a dozen jumbo crabs and every one of them was heavy and sweet. Everyone was friendly It wasn't all around great experience
Outstanding mom and pop seafood resistant. Friendly and family like atmosphere. Was so worth the 8 blocks we walked to get there. Will definitely return to eat again next time we’re in the area.
