First time to Wichita, and first time here. Pros: drive thru open 24hrs (I had a late nite dinner), flavor on the TexMex Carne Asada street tacos was good, staff was very polite.
Cons: I know street tacos are small, but 3 for $5 didnt fill me up, the street taco shells stuck to the foil so it was a minor struggle to peel them apart, the salsa was not bad but average at best. Also on salsa I asked for hot, it definitely wasn't. So I either received mild by accident or their hot just isn't hot. I give them a 3.5 for now.
I realize I am a little critical here but I still think despite the cons it was worth it so please try them. I am going to go there again tomorrow to try another flavor street taco.
(I need to amend this review: when I first went the sign said drive thru open 24hrs. I went back last night and they were completely closed at 1130pm. Google says they are open till midnight. There is a now hiring sign in the window; perhaps this is the reason for the sporadic closing hours.)
I wish I could give them 5 stars every time I come because this is an awesome place and extremely appreciate the 20% military discount. Taco Tico and Taco Rico do not give military discounts and I just came from West Street way on the west side because they give military discount an awesome customer service. I will refer and recommend everybody I know to come to Taco Bueno whether they are military or not this is a great place
So tasty! The party taco -only 99 cents- is really a great bargain with lots of filling & a super crisp shell. The burritos are delicious, as are any of the items I've tried. The food seems so much healthier than other fast-food Mexican.❤️. Super nice workers!
Went through the drive. Fast service. We ordered two taco platers. Beans, rice, tacos and condiments all looked and tasted fresh. Very good. Correct order and plenty of salsa. I have been to a couple of places that forgot chips or something else. Five star with my experience. Thanks.
I have always received good service and quality food when i went here. So much better than the bell place, which i wont ever go to. It was sometimes a bit messy but i think more of that lies with customers who make a mess at the salsa bar. It was never crowded though and i just heard its closed with another taco place taking over. Really disappointed they're gone
There used to be one of these in Hutchinson. Miss it so much. The staff was great and the price is reasonable.
