Cynthia's Jerk chicken was simply amazing. Just the right amount of kick! The cucumber salad was refreshing. She is so creative. I enjoy working in a building with such a wonderful food option. Thanks Cynthia and staff keep the good food coming.
Six of us enjoyed lunch at the new Parsnipity Cafe. I had today's special: Korean Pork BBQ Lettuce Wraps with a spicy sauce on the side plus spiralized veggies with an Asian dressing. It was delicious - in fact I'm posting a picture of the meal presented and my empty plate after I devoured it. I guess I earned a point in the "Clean Plate Club" today. The coffee (beverage included with specials) was top quality - and they had 3 different fresh brews to choose from. Cynthia and Craig have done a great job of starting this cafe in downtown Wichita. I bet the business crowd loves it. I'll definitely be back.
Cynthia has two specials/per day, a soup of the day, and a varied daily menu. Her ingredients are fresh and healthy. Excellent value.
While you order at the counter, your food is then quickly delivered to your table.
We had lunch today at Parsnipity, and the food was excellent! I had the pot roast special (the meat, which was perfectly seasoned and absolutely sumptuous, fell apart under my fork) and my husband had the pastrami and provolone sandwich. Our little one, aged 17 months, hungrily devoured most of the potato on my plate and I enjoyed the rest. What a great little place this is — and set in a lovely, open space inside the Epic Center! Wholeheartedly recommended. Oh — and we took several lumpia home and reheated them later on: they made an amazing after-school snack for our seven-year-old and a delicious mid-afternoon treat for us! Drop into Parsnipity — you won't regret it!
Thoroughly enjoyed the original Lumpia with fried rice today at Kake food truck week. Such a great turnout for LumpiaPalooza. Love your truck signing.
The food Cynthia prepares is made-from-scratch and totally delicious!! I love the Coronation chicken salad. (It's hard for me to order anything else because I love it so much). I did order the Chicken and Noodles served over mashed potatoes recently. Talk about delicious and satisfying! I'm looking forward to the LumpiaPalooza event on October 31. There will be lots and lots of flavors to try, both savory and sweet. And did I say everything is made-from-scratch?? You must visit soon!
Recently on a road trip with friends and Parsnipity Cafe was a don't-miss for us. We were there early so I had the breakfast burrito which was delish. The owner also brought an order of Lumpia out for us to try. Oh my gosh words can not describe how truly yummy it was, best I've ever had. We had to have a take-home order of Lumpia to enjoy later. We just followed the reheating directions and it came out perfect! Don't miss out on this amazing made from scratch and fresh to order food. The prices were very reasonable and super friendly staff. I will be back!
I have been to this Cafe about three times since it opened. I absolutely love it. The food is delicious, and it is reasonably priced. The lumpia is to die for. If you are ever in the Wichita Area this Cafe is a place to check out. I promise you you won't regret it!
Yum! Everything I have eaten here is delicious. The beef shepherd's pie may be in the top 10 things I have ever eaten. I originally came in to try the coronation chicken sandwich. I loved they idea of eating a dish invented for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth in the middle of Wichita Ks. Everytime I eat at Parsnipity it is an adventure in eating.
