Cool little burger joint in a not terrible part of town. Id rate the food quality 4/5 stars but the value of the food was 5/5. Staff is nice ajd area is clean. Google maps had trouble figuring out where it was located, got us really close hut not quite there. Its a little white building right across from a barbershop, i cant remember the name as of writing.
Got the Bacon and Cheddar Nu Way and loved it! Never had a crumbly burger but now that I have, I need them in my life! The wait staff was so polite and charming. Our waitress even engaged me in a conversation about James Dean when she saw me take a pic of the mural. Next time I'm in Wichita I'm sure to go back!
Had not bern to this location since my kids were little. We always loved going in because everyone was so friendly & the history is cool. Went for a late lunch the other day to see that nothing had changed, even the same awesome manager lady. Support local & Wichita history.
This was a different kind of burger, a crumbly burger, and it was pretty good. I had the bacon cheese crumbly burger. The fries weren't bad, they were crisped well, just needed salt (which I added). But the number one reason I will come back was the Root Beer, they make it there and it was delicious. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming.
Bottom line: It's worth trying, especially the Root Beer.
Surprisingly delicious! Hit this spot up from a recommendation from someone that was raised in Wichita! Sounded kind of different, but the crumble burgers are delish, I don't normally drink root beer, but since they make it in house I have it a try and Yum!.. Oh and the young man working the dinning room was very knowledgeable and gave me the history of the joint! If I ever make it back to Wichita, I'll definitely stop in again! 5 stars all day!
Great place to get a new type of burger, onion rings are house made, good service and the root beer is served in cold mugs. Yummy!
My parents love going to nuway. We had family in town so we went for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint. Root beer was cold, onion rings were hot and sandwiches were just like they used to be... Such a great local eatery!
