Rocky Rococo

This place is an enigma. The ambiance is strange and seems like it hasn't been updated since the birth of rocky Rocco's in the 70s. It's also weirdly never that busy and yet always have like 4 people working. The food is good if you like Rocky's. Which I do. And the owner is probably one of the nicest guys around. The whole store seems like a front for something else, and going feels like being sucked to a different universe. However, this weird altering feeling is enjoyable, plus they have pizza. So that's cool

If I could leave a 0-star I would. My husband's favorite pizza and we live 30 minutes away to drive and pick it up. Last night, I phoned at 6:50pm and the man says; they are Closing Early due to staff shortage. (They are supposed to close at 8:00pm) Ok, I understand, there seems to be a Staff Shortage everywhere. Yet the few weeks ago on another Friday, I called for the "Rock Father" pizza, again hubby's favorite and the man really got ornery over the phone about it. Saying that's a 6-week promo a year thing, ONLY and that they don't even have a Recipe for it. Plus, he's super busy and short-staffed, stressed out, whatever. Well that's odd, because for the last few months, I have been ordering that exact pizza over the phone. I believe I will go elsewhere from now on, as I don't feel like being treated so poorly again...
