End of an era. The Clinton is closing permanently 6/25/23. I have been coming here for all my life, so sad to see it go.
They make one of the best chicken Parms. Huge portion, always tender. I will definitely miss eating this.
Establishment is for locals. Always there when you need it, great for a casual night out when you don’t feel like cooking. Never needed to reserve nights ahead, could walk in and they would accommodate.
Thank you for your service to the community and we will miss you dearly!

My family is coming in from California and they can’t wait to go back to the Clinton. We always enjoy ourselves with the great food and ambiance. See you next week😀

We went with friends for dinner. It was a pleasant experience and the staff was very polite and efficient. We had five entrees, three were the same. The service was very good and the food was also good but not exceptional. We would return and give other entrees a try. Prices were reasonable other than the special which was pricey. Overall a positive experience with room for improvement.
While visiting family we were taken out to this quaint restaurant with a charming atmosphere. I ordered lasagna and although not the best I've ever had, was very good and portion was huge. My mother ordered a chicken cutlet that was so big it was nearly falling off the plate. Even though I'm not familiar with NY prices anymore, they did seem fair and appropriate for the portions they're serving.
Wait staff was pleasant and courteous but I found them to be a little slow. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend the place.

The food was delicious. The portions, substantial. The bill, inoffensive. Editing my first review. Over the years I've eaten at the Clinton a few times, usually with family or special friends. I've tried quite a few things on the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Fresh fish, steak, seafood, lasagna, sandwiches, salads... Every single bite, top notch quality.
This place is great. I had always liked it but it was even better when we went to dinner there and there was a new bartender named Kelly. Drinks, food and service were absolutely top notch. I definitely recommend this place, especially if Kelly is working and you might like to have a cocktail and dinner at the bar.
Will never not have this restaurant as a staple in our lives. We adore the place. Great service great food! Not happy though with the change in the menu, miss my favorite antipasto and the portions have definitely gone smaller but that’s ok! I always take home half my plate anyway! Now we just take home less! Love our fabulous waitress Peggy! Life changes and I guess restaurants have to as well. As long as they don’t ever leave us I will be a repeat customer forever! Thanks ♥️🙋♀️
