The brisket ( I prefer the "moist" version, they also provide a less fatty "dry" version - trust me, more fat = more good ) was extremely unctuous, tender with a great flavor. The pulled pork and ribs were also good. A+ for the meats. The sides are OK. Not the star of the show. I love baked beans, and they are OK, easily doctored with a squirt of the BBQ sauces. Also the coleslaw is nice, it is on the dry side and less sweet - nice actually. My least favorite thing is the corn bread, and I love cornbread. I get that this is a style, dense, etc. but served cold like I have had it on recent visits makes it less appealing. Overall it's about the meats and they are well worth the visit.
My first trip, and oh my pickles, it was great. I had the black plate special, which was aloha brisket. Had Cole slaw and potato salad as the sides. The Georgia mustard and tupelo honey BBQ sauces. Was amazing! Can't wait to go back!!!
Mission BBQ is always an amazing experience! The staff are friendly, helpful and polite (shout out to our waitress who checked on us 3 times during our meal and even gave us free brownies!). The food is as fresh as you can get and made right in front of you. We had the short ribs, pulled chicken and BBQ and they were all delicious.The ambience of the restaurant is one of respect, humility and appreciation.

Our first time there, it was really nice! Although it appears as a table service place, go up to the counter and place your order. We decided on the 5 rib and 1/2 yard bird. The spare ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious! The chicken was very good also. The place is decorated with military photos and first responders. Any vet would feel well at home here. Our needs were met by a young gentleman ill call "T" who noticed I was a vet and then gave us a complimentary brownie dessert and also another peach cobbler. He was very amicable and attentive. My only issue was we ordered a side of their Mac and cheese and it wasn't very large, after tasting it, I wanted more! It was creamy, comforting and wonderful! I promise, i could have made an entire meal just from the Mac and cheese.
It was a very nice place for a super comfot food dinner and I will certainly be back. I've passed this place for years, my only regret is I don't stop here years ago. Thanks for the great food and service!
The food was fantastic definitely a change of pace. I love barbecue and this place hits the spot. Will definitely go there again.

If you're fortunate enough to be there at 12 noon, everything stops for a moment. I won't tell you why, but that alone is worth going there. The amazing food is an added benefit.
