Actually you can dine in now, but they serve your food in to go containers. It's actually like being in Turkey. It's a one man show he does all the cooking and serving and money duties. He takes orders on the phone for take out. The dining room is sparse comfortable booths with interesting curtains and tables spaced for covid. Low budget or interest for decorations. Small pictures of the Mediterranean area dot the walls. The room can be transformed into a larger space for gatherings. What is lacking in ambience is made up in tasty food. I had the gyro sandwich stuffed in a pita, with French fries and a pop from the cooler. Wine is available. Very tasty authentic Mediterranean meal, huge menu with many Turkish offerings. Priced modestly this place could make your budget stretch far.

Black Sea makes one of the the best gyros in the twin cities in my opinion. The gyro with rice on the side is an old favorite from the St. Paul location and even better now that they are near me out on county rd. E. Fast take out (under 5 min for gyro dinner with rice) and fresh food makes this a great stop. Can also order ahead by phone or online so enjoy.

The meat was juicy and flavorful. Pita and rice were solid. The hummus, feta, olive and falafel appetizer was delicious. Very happy with our meal.
