Pickles' Grog & Grill

We've eaten here twice and were disappointed both times. Most recently, my husband could taste a chemical in/around the food, like dish cleaner. I got a very bland, greasy, and bready cheese steak. If you like your hot sauce HOT, get their hot. We eat "hot" wing sauce everywhere we go but we we have to go mild here. Good service, not great food.

Do not pass up this place! You will be so mad you did because this place takes bar food to a new level. We stopped today for the first time and we cant wait to come back and try EVERYTHING else. Lol my friend and I ordered a few things to share and we loved everything. We started with fried pickles, spears breaded and cooked perfectly. The garlic parm wings were super crispy with just the right amount of sauce.The Fulton Philly was huge! Loaded with quality toppings on an incredibly fresh loaf of bread and included a pile of fries(that we made into chilli cheese fries because why not) Everyone who works there really seems to care about and enjoy their work and the customers, it shows in delicious food and great service.

We stopped in at Pickles while on a road trip to Virginia. The staff was amazing and personable and service was quick. On the bar side it was similar to cheers where they know your drinks when you walk in. We had a burger, cheese balls, fries, and Cajun chicken. All food was good and we took left over fries with cheese for a late night snack. The bartender made a great old fashioned and the bud light bottle was cold. Overall great experience. I would stop by again if I'm ever in the area.
