Patron Mexican Grill

I keep tossing this between a 3 and a 4. 5/5 Margaritas: strong, and tasty and well-priced especially for a Saturday night, which were generously over-sized as compared to the Franklin Inn's overpriced margaritas which are not oversized, you just might like this better! Our server was overworked, with so many tables to service, that you either ordered, or you were not getting her back. It took a while for her to actually come to our table to even order drinks at the beginning. So overall the service is scattered at best. Our salsa jar came out as a glass that was cracked/broken and had to be replaced and it was a big crack, not small, which kind of started us off the tone! As far as the food that is where I have to take the star or 2 off. Shrimp Quesadilla made me ask, "where's the shrimp?" reflected in the photo. Kind of NOT what I expected nothing epic here! So, I'd go for a happy hour to enjoy a few margaritas but probably nothing more, because just like the shrimp went missing on my quesadilla, I'll go missing on entrée ordering.

The Patron in Wexford is part of a small chain in the Pittsburgh area. I have eaten at the other locations many times, and today was my first visit to this location. I interacted with three employees, and their customer service was very timely and pleasant. My husband and I ordered the guacamole, shrimp quesadilla, and chicken fajita, and all of this food tasted delicious. We will definitely visit again in the future.

I am not sure how this place has such high ratings. The food was “meh” at best. The steak was like rubber. The place was also very loud. The desserts were bad. Now there is a 4% extra charge if you use credit card. Please go somewhere else. I beg you. The only nice thing about the place was our waitress who was wonderful.

I really don't know what to rate this place. Takeout/Uber Eats wise it's always been a solid place that packs food well and gives good portions. Went there in person and it was absolutely terrible. Service was poor, but with staffing levels that is expected at this point everywhere. Food wise it was really bad, the fish tacos were literally chopped up fish on flour tortillas. No topping, not even shaped like a taco, just fish on a tortilla. The other food was just poor quality. Also the credit card fee is a joke, having a minimum spend is fine, but don't be so cheap.

Food and service was fantastic. Good food and good prices. The men's restroom was disgusting though, smelled terrible of mold, and unmentionable things. Water dripping from the plumbing onto the floor and no attention to keeping the place clean. The food and service was good, but the bathroom made me regret my visit, felt sick the rest of the day
