There are many Indian restaurants in the area What makes this different is relatively consistent food taste every visit. We don’t have to guess on the mood of the chef lol. Unfortunately it appears to be closed for now or permanently (?).

Love this Indian restaurant. It's not the closest our home and yet we still drive just to go here. In addition, they have delivery via Grub Hub and it's always still SMOKING hot when arriving 25 mins away.

Walking in at 930pm on a Saturday night, when they close at 10p, they were very accommodating and very helpful to my party. A few people had no clue what the dishes were called, and the woman who took our orders explained everything. Even though our orders were to go, everything went smoothly. Definitely recommend!

Best Indian in the area: great flavors, good variety (meet, vegetarian, salad, desert), not too spicy (some spicier dishes available), clean, decorated with taste and nice ambient music. My family and I like to go there for lunch buffet. My wife did not like the Indian food at the beginning (another place), she found it too spicy...but now she loves it. Friendly owners and servers. Great for meetings or large gatherings too. I hope they will be around for a long time - I keep recommending them to my friends and people I get in contact.

This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in the Chicago area. I always come here when I am in town. The buffet has lots of delicious vegetarian options and the service is excellent.

Friends come in from Evanston just to dine at Saffron and they live several blocks from all of the restaurants on Devon. Very warm and accommodating.

They have been at this location for awhile now, but I still miss the old location. However that has NOTHING to do with the food quality as it is fantastic. It may be pricey but its homemade, its good for you!! The person who said you could go to burger king/chipotle four times over for the price.....can go to get their crappy food there.. because I'm totally all in for a good healthy delicious meal. That is what it takes when you get quality ingredients!! Friendly staff... just fantastic all around.
