One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. The Mongolian beef was amazing. Sadly, it's now out of business as the owners decided to retire. Always loved the place and the staff were always friendly
a lot of the negative comments are related to price but, prices are going up everywhere! anyways this is our go to cheap chinese place. when most entrees in restaurants alone are $12, here you get entree, side of rice and an egg roll which is plenty for the same price. We got 3 lunch specials for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was more than enough. When i went in for pickup the place is def old school, i’m a sentimental sap so i found it nostalgic if anything. Chinese food! This is the best in the area. Any plate you ask for is nice and tasty. The do the best egg rolls ever. The house tea is nice and the service good
One gripe: Don't get me wrong. I love the TASTE of the food but for certain items... such as the fried rice+protein (pork, chicken, shrimp, and "China Chef" varieties) the top layer of the carton after opening contains almost ALL of the protein (I assume positioned there to illicit a good first impression) while the remaining 75% contains almost all rice with basically no meat at all. This isn't a one-time impression but rather a pattern I've seen over the last 30 years. It's not a bait and switch technically... But feels a bit like one.

China Chef is a local favorite. They've been at the same location since I was a little kid. The variety is excellent and they have an awesome lunch special menu. I held back on the 5th star because the language barrier with the wait staff can make ordering an adventure sometimes.
Lived all over, this is still by far the best! I worked with someone from New Jersey who was once telling us the best Chinese she had was from a restaurant in Westmont Illinois... I couldn't believe it, I knew exactly which restaurant she was referencing. Even now I know quite a few people that come in from a 50 mile radius to pick up excellent Chinese food. Will keep coming here as long as I can :)
It’s just the best. Especially amazing are the egg rolls and fried rice. Large shrimp in everything that has shrimp, not the lame little ones other places use. Do your self a favor and order the homemade sweet and sour.
Been in person on a friend date and was such a great spot inside the restaurant! I also ordered online and both were great experiences. Gonna be our new spot ! Rangoons stayed super crispy, and everything was delicious fresh and delivered~ definitely recommend if you’re around the area!
This place has been here forever. I remember coming here with a friend when I was about 11 or 12 (that's over 40 yrs ago) we used to get egg rolls. I live 8 Miles away and this is one of the few Chinese restaurants that I'll go to. The egg rolls are still fantastic! My favorite dish on the menu is beef with green peppers and tomatoes and it's out of this world! Try it, you won't be disappointed. The egg drop soup is pretty good, and the barbecue pork and fried shrimp are great!
